British Pantry
I took my mum and good friend to the British Pantry last Sunday for a tea birthday party, and we had a splendid time! The shop is so well decorated with and makes one feel as if they have walked through the doors of the Queen's tea room itself. The service was friendly, the tea was hot (very important to me), delicious, and served in the very traditional, pretty pots and porcelain cups and saucers, and accompained with the tastiest scones and pastries I have had this side of the pond! Charming, exquisite, and I can't wait to go back for more get togethers with the special girl friends in my life. A perfect setting for a bridal or baby shower, a book club meeting, a birthday party for a grown up woman:) and, to top it all off, if you are every craving treats that are difficult to come by here in the U.S., such as digestives or hobnobs, real marmalade, etc, they have all of the British staples for you to stock up! Thank you Lisa and Julie and all of the wonderful staff at the British Pantry!
