A Victorian Garden Party
Of all the tea rooms I have visited, this one far outshines the rest. They only offered a choice of two flavored teas, during the Christmas season, cranberry orange and cinnanom, but they were excellent. Served hot and the staff checked our pots regualarly without being pessy, they kept the tea hot and filled. The high tea was wonderful, perhaps the only tea that I came away 'full'. Everything is prepared there and to order. In other words everything is prepared when you arrive, not the night before or early morning. So everything was fresh, and served at the right temperature. The staff was friendly and extrememly efficient. We left the tea room feeling as if we had made new friends. The house is a brick house, the oldest home in Spring Grove and by the size and design of the outsize, what a surprise it was to walk into it. The inside is totally decorated to look like a Victorian Tea room. They even have hats for the ladies to wear if you don't wear your own. I can highly recommend this Tearoom on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give this a 10+! Reservations are required, so miss out by thinking you can just drop in.
