Gryphon Tea Room
My aunt and I sat by the bay window overlooking Madison Square for afternoon tea (which the waitress agreed to serve to us 20 minutes before the actual scheduled time). The cucumber sandwiches were nice and light for a very hot afternoon and the scones were delicious. I enjoyed the Madagascar Vanilla Tea and my aunt drank a chilled apricot tea. Both were average (nothing to write home about), but we enjoyed each other and the laid back atmosphere; however, the orange chairs are hideous!
