Sweet Afton Tea Room and Restaurant
We thought this was a pretty good tearoom, comparatively. The menu selection was excellent, many authentic 'British' type foods available. The tea was very tasty, but the decor was on the plain side. Overall experience was good.

Victorian Parlor Tea and Gifts
Compared to other tea rooms in the Metro-Detroit area that we have visited, this tearoom was sorely lacking. The seating area was cramped, rickety and crowded. There was NO selection offered as to what food/sandwiches/desserts one received. The overall experience was very disappointing. Never once did we see or were asked if we wanted a Russian teaball or a scone!!
