The Pink Bicycle Tea Room
We were at the Pink Bicycle for the first time around the 2007 Christmas Holidays and it started out as a wonderful experience. The service was good throughout as was the tea and food, but, and it is a big BUT, we were a table of 4 and there was another table of 2 (grandmother with granddaughter) and about half way through our tea a table of about 12 came in for a wedding shower and the small room was no longer quiet and tranquil but noisey which made it difficult to hear our conversation at our table. The experience told me that while the Pink Bicycle is definitely an EXCELLENT choice for tea, both for service and the food, when you make a reservation be sure to ask whether large parties would be seated, and if they are, take the noise factor into consideration.
