Charlotte's Tea Room
My girlfriends and I always celebrate a couple of birthdays together, and this year a new arrival. We usually go to a tea room closer to me, but this year we wanted to try something new. From the moment I walked through the front door, I was smitten. We were seated in 'The Library'. The decor is charming and comfortable. Our group was large and our food was served quickly and efficiently. I had a cup (actually a huge mug ) of the sweet potato soup and the spinach quiche. Some of my group had salads and their tea sandwiches. The presentation of everything was so beautiful. I myself will not wait till next year to sample more of their menu. I've made plans to go back with my mother.
