British Pantry
A friend and I had a nice long visit here on a weekday afternoon and were made very welcome and comfortable by the friendly and capable server. We ordered a la carte rather than a set tea. My lunch food was tasty, simple and filling rather than frilly. The scones were terrific! The devonshire cream was the real thing and served in generous portions (which it often is not at other tearooms). Not a lot of tea choice, but it was a respectable English brand and we received refills on request. The price means I'll come here more as a treat than on a whim, but I will return.
