Enjoyed another wonderful experience at Sweet Remembrances yesterday! I tried a 'new to me' tea (Windsor Castle) from their large tea list. It was a delightful, full bodied black tea. Nancy's food was superb as usual with little hints connected with the theme 'Beauty Secrets'. Alisa Dupuy played the Evil Queen (from 'Snow White') who shared her story and the beauty secrets of women from centuries gone by. Alisa was wonderful and provided 'tongue in cheek' commentary to entertain her audience. She made the hour long presentation fly by! My friend Barbara and I travel more than an hour to get this location and have never been disappointed. We also enjoyed sitting with two tea enthusiast whom we had not met. Good tea, food, entertainment and new tea friends made this a day to savor.

    Tearoom response:

Your kind words are appreciated Ann. Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience at one of our special events. Alisa Dupuy is certainly most entertaining! And we enjoy coordinating the tea around the theme for the event. Looking forward to seeing you and Barbara in the tea room soon!

My friend found this tea room for me! I was visiting from Maryland where I frequently go to tea with friends. I wanted to experience tea in the Phoenix area. We were pleased with the food (the soup was outstanding) and the presentation was well done. We were served so much we even took some home with us. The atmosphere was pleasant and appropriate. Our only suggestions would be a curtain/beads to block the view into the kitchen from the Garden Room and do have the staff dress appropriately. A tucked in black t-shirt/golf shirt would be much better than the long t-shirt our server wore. We will most likely do this again when I return for a visit.

Our Red Hat Flashers went to this tea room last spring. I was shocked to see that there were no reviews! This was one of the most lovely, charming tea rooms I've ever been to. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent (AND so pleasant). We loved trying on different hats and watching others do so. The setting indoors and outdoors is delightful! This was a 5 star experience! I'm sorry I didn't write a review sooner!! Ann
