The Picket Fence & Garden Tearoom
I went to The Picket Fence Tearoom with a good friend of mine and we experienced a most enjoyble afternoon. With regards to the tea, there was a variety of blended black and green teas, as well as selections that were caffeine-free. The sandwiches were freshly-made, and the scone and mini quiche were flavorful. Also, gluten-free choices were offered as needed. The service was prompt and friendly, and we were able to have more heated water for our loose tea leaves upon request. The bathroom was spotless and the adjoining gift shop had many tea-related items that were both traditional and in keeping with the season.

New Leaf Tea Room & Gift Shoppe
Upon my daughter's engagement, there was only one place that I would consider to host her bridal shower, and that was The New Leaf Tearoom. From the moment of our arrival, the servers were quick to help us to unload packages from our car, despite the sprinkling of rain. Once inside, everything was made ready for us. The savories were generous and tasty, and the tea was full-bodied and freshly brewed. The scones were a great favorite and made with seasonal berries. Some of my guests had never been to a tearoom, but upon experiencing such a memorable afternoon, plan on making reservations for return visits. I cannot thank Phyllis, Peggy, and Judy enough for making this once-in-a-lifetime event a treasure trove of beautiful and cherished moments.
