My husband and I surprised our daughter for her 22nd birthday with tea at The Front Porch last Saturday. Our experience was wonderful. We loved the fact that they served an Ambrosia fruit salad with toasted coconut - a nice variation from what we've received at other local tea houses. The same can be said about the house salad - loved the textures, colors, and dressing! The loaded baked potato soup, and peppermint mousse inside of a chocolate rose-shaped shell were deelish as well. Bonnie had some high school chums visiting and spent most her time with them, but she was careful to greet her other guests to be certain they were comfortable and enjoying themselves. Besides, we were in the very capable and friendly hands of Linda. We would not hesitate to recommend or visit this tea room again! Thank you for the lovely experience.

What a fabulous Sunday tea! The atmosphere is spectacular with all the lovely decor, inclusive of a variety of wonderful hats and fur shawls. The owners and other staff were professional, pleasant, and took the time to converse with us. We had the choice of Vanilla Caramel and Orange Spice teas. Both of these were tried and both were good, but the Vanilla Caramel was the winner. I am used to being able to select from a variety of teas at other parlors. I'm guessing that because our hosts accommodated us on a Sunday (not normal hours of operation) while entertaining a large bus group, the tea offerings were scaled down to those two selections? No worries here though. The 1st, 2nd, and 5th courses were par for the course. All delicious standards. But, courses 3, 4, and 6 are what nudged them past other local parlors. You will not find any one note sweets, sandwiches, or desserts here! Come. Don a hat and shawl. Bring friends, family, or that special someone. And, enjoy a good cuppa. We'll be back for sure.

You two were a delight to serve and many thanks for the delightful critic of The Parlor. Sounds like you enjoyed everything and we look forward to your return visits.
