High Tea Cottage
I have come to this tea house about 7 or 8 times since they opened.Any new business goes through growing pains.The one thing and probably the most important in my opinion,is that the food here has been consistantly delicious.I was willing to be patient and wait for the other aspects of running this tea house to sort itself out. And it did.Last week I brought my girlfriend for her birthday and we had a delightful time.Everyone and everything was in sync.Our reservation was recognized,we were seated promptly and the server was friendly, attentive and informative.My expectation in a tea house such as this is to feel as though I am being entertained in someone's home.I am not looking for or expecting a tea experience similar to the Bel Air Hotel or Four Seasons.Parking on the street in front is difficult at best,but there is a public lot down the block with coin meters.A very nice added touch is that all the birthday girls I have brought have received a gift from the HTC.In fact when I hosted a holiday tea for a small group of friends,the HTC gave me a gift of tea in an adorable tin!
