The AubreyRose Tea Room
Our experience with the Aubrey Rose Tea Room was excellent from the beginning. I had to postpone our reservation twice and it was done with a smile and no complaint. When we finally made it, they welcomed us like royalty, the decor was delightful, the food was excellent and to our delight, they had Rooibos African red bush tea. As fans of Mma Ramotswe, we just had to taste it, and to our delight (that word again) it smelled and tasted just as we thought it would! Our granddaughters spent a half-hour trying on hats and feather boas and admiring the various dolls and toys scattered around the room. I highly recommend this tearoom, it beats all the other ones I've experienced in San Diego by a mile. for an added bonus, The Yellow Book Road bookstore is just across the street.
