Vintage Tea Leaf
I was taken to VTL a few months ago by a friend, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. Walking into the tea room was like leaving the grimy rat-race of reality behind, and entering a fantasy world of traquility and beauty. Miss Beverly was gracious and attentive, the service was very prompt on a day that was quite busy, and the food was superb! Not normally a fan of scones, when I took my first bite I literally shivered with pleasure. The tea was delicious, the sandwiches were light and flavorful, and dessert (an orange coconut cake) made me kick myself that I didn't save more room for it. Definitely tops on my list of places to relax and be pampered.
