Whimsical Teas Tea Room
We have been all over Southern California experiencing tea rooms and were looking forward to this one after reading the reviews. The service was wonderful and the owner very sweet and welcoming. The food, however, was disappointing. Of the three of us, two had burnt scones and the other had scones that were uncooked in the middle. The combination of sandwiches was interesting. The egg salad was great but the pink pineapple sandwich was strange. We probably won't be back but maybe it was just a tough day at Whimsical Tea.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, however we apologize that your experience was not up to par. We do have a new oven which we have adjusted to correct for the problems with our scones. Sussex Teapot
This is a regular stop for me. It is a traditional English tea room with traditional English fare. Pamela and Christine are the patronesses and they are charming. The tea sandwiches are always fresh and delicious and Pamela makes homemade soups that are wonderful, as well. My friend and I meet here often and want to try one of their tradtional English breakfasts one Sunday.
