The Pink Bicycle Tea Room
Stopped in for lunch on a quiet Wednesday. Lisa took very good care of me, and was willing to prepare me a lunch between 'Cream Tea' and 'Queen's Tea.' Tea served was Cream Earl Grey. Lunch was a fresh-from-the-oven white-chocolate-cranberry scone served with clotted cream and marmalade; mixed baby greens salad with fresh bacon bits, chopped broccoli and cauliflower, pine nuts, sliced strawberries, and raspberry vinaigrette. A few butter crackers, orange slices, two salmon salad (?)-finger sandwiches, four 'open face' cucumber sandwich rounds, a handful of grapes, and a delicious fresh lemon-ginger cookie. Friendly service and pleasant conversation was similar to prior experiences I've had dining here. Perfect-sized meal for a rainy April noontime.
