I am a long-time resident of Sonora and currently reside only a few minutes from Historical Columbia. I absolutely adore Kate’s Teahouse and am always more than completely, 100% satisfied with what I get there. I am a bit of a tea snob and I can tell you that there isn’t a tea on their menu that isn’t phenomenal. I am known to order their chicken pot pie, as well, as is it one of my favorites of any restaurant I’ve been to. The venue is beautiful and very cozy, it makes me feel at home. One of my favorite memories is sitting in the garden room with my best friend on Valentine’s Day. It was raining, but the heaters were on and the service and food was amazing as always. The selection on teas available is long and very comprehensive. They offer green, black, white, herbal, and flavored teas. One of my favorites is their Lapsang Souchong, though the Almond-Orange Rooibos is also wonderful. Definitely visit Kate’s Teahouse. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
