Nov. 19, 2021 We again returned to have a high tea as they are once again open after Covid and everything was just as awesome as our first visit and we look forward to many more visits to celebrate special occasions or just for fun. The only difference was the menu which was just as fabulous as the one in the previous review below . This should be five plus stars but for some reason it won't fill in the last star. I had the Ultimate Tea with my sister in law to celebrate our birthdays. Our fun started with calling to make the reservation. It wasn't the usual business type call as you are treated like you were calling a family member for a chat as you are made to feel welcome and appreciated. We arrived and were greeted at the door and told where we could put our coats, where the ladies room was, and then given a quick tour of the tea room on the way to our table. We had a fabulous and relaxing time. The atmosphere was wonderful and it is in a beautiful setting with great views out the window. Each room is beautifully decorated with tea themes and cheery colors. The service was awesome and you felt like you were being taken care of by family. The meal was excellent. We started with a cheese ball and crackers. Since the cheese ball had bacon in it and I don't eat pork I was given cheese slices that were cut into heart shapes. A delicious bowl of creamy tomato soup followed. I wish I had the recipe for this as I could eat it everyday!! Then came the pasta salad. Since it was February there were heart shaped pastas in the salad. Then the rest of the meal was brought out on a three tier server. The first tier had 3 small sandwiches of pimento, a turkey, cheese, apple, and a crescent chicken salad sandwich. Each was cut in a shape and cutely decorated. Then the next tier was a cherry scone with clotted cream that was melt in your mouth good. The final tier was the dessert course of a strawberry lemon cookie, a brownie, and a chocolate chip mouse served in a pretty like glass with a heart chocolate on top. Of course we also had tea and they had a large selection for us to choose from. I had the strawberry chocolate that was really good. They have a small gift shop with lots of tea related articles along with jewelry and other things. We are already planning our next trip down as this will be a new favorite special occasion place to come.
