The tea here was absolutely amazing, and the food was really good as well, but the staff was weirdly hostile, which always made it an uncomfortable experience. The last time I was in here, the owner ran over and scolded me for adding milk to my tea from the condiment bar, which was a very odd moment! That said, this tea shop permanently closed earlier this year.
This is one of my favorite spots in Atlanta to sit for an afternoon with a friend and a pot of tea. Their tea selection is solid, and their service is friendly. The decor is very Wes Anderson, which provides a nice ambiance, as do the books for sale lining the walls. I love sitting on the back patio on nice days! This is not a formal tea shop, though you can reserve high tea here, so be prepared for a more relaxed atmosphere. The one downside is that seating can be very limited because this spot is both small and popular.
