This is a rather lovely location! The tea selection is amazing, and the staff is super friendly. I had white pomegranate and hubs had Irish morning; both were great. I can't speak on the food yet as we were not hungry when we stopped by; the selection looked delicious though! This location is a mere five minutes away from Dance Masters, where we take ballroom lessons, so I look forward to stopping by quite often.

I absolutely love this location! Everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming as well. There is a wide variety delicious teas. They also have a few pieces of tea ware and accessories for sale. Hubs and I visited twice during our Asheville honeymoon. The first time, we were on a slight time crunch so popped in long in enough to make a small purchase. Enamored, we made it a priority to stop by on our way out of Asheville to enjoy a tea tasting flight. We were asked if we would like to pick our five or have them choose five based off of likes/dislikes; we chose the latter. Hubs declared that he isn't a tea person and was just along for the ride. We were told that they would make it their mission to find something he'd like. Sure enough, he walked out with not one but two teas that he wanted for himself. I highly suggest trying the dorayaki; I had two and often wish that I could have more. Here's hoping to visiting again in the future.

Great selection of loose leaf teas, teaware, and accessories. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Whether you are a tea newbie or an old pro just looking for something different, they can send you sipping in the right direction. I have yet gotten a brewed tea to go, but I have seen many customers walk out pleased with their purchase.

*PERMANENTLY CLOSED* Unfortunately the pandemic claimed this location. I have loved everything about The Tottering Tecup and will greatly miss it. I'm looking forward to supporting their next project.

I had the opportunity to stop by this shop when visiting Salem two years ago. The selection is amazing, and the employees are very friendly. The teas that I selected were a genmaicha and a Ravenclaw inspired blend. I picked up some absolutely macarons to snack on while hubs and I wandered around the area. I hope I can visit again in the future.

I love this location. (The last time that I went was pre-covid.) It's a lovely spot to grab a light lunch and indulge on some delicious tea. They also had some delicious cookies that hubs and I bought to go. The staff is also super friendly. Last time that I was there, people were able to take selfies with the "queen" (cardboard cutout) which was something fun to do. They also have some delicious loose leaf teas for purchase. My favorite that I have gotten thus far is Nordic Gingerbread.

This is an amazing tea room! My now husband and I first visited on a date a few years back and were giving a seat at the coveted front door table. The staff is super friendly. I quite enjoy the tea selection. The food is delightful as well; you MUST get the scones. I've seen some complaints about the presentation. It is perfectly adequate and makes sense for the environment. This location is a small tea room in a historic location, not a grand service in a palatial sitting room.
