Agreed. Excellent cuisine, superb tea and delightful atmosphere! I was here for a Bridal Shower and am already thinking of excuses to go back...(even though it is a few hours away)! Four stars and two thumbs up! :)

This place is AMAZING!!! Bev specializes in Austrailian cusine and it's all freshly made each day. I love it all: especially the ANZAC biscuit, chicken almond sandwiches and the tiny quiche. Oh, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! :)

We went to the tea room last month. Got to tell you it was great. The scones were to die for, sandwiches were wonderful and creative,The desserts yummy and the Anzac cracker (cookie) was delightful. We tried to figure out how it was made. The tea was so good I bought 1/2 lb. We live near Portland so we may not go this winter, but we will be going in the spring. Hope we see you again at the tea room. Great;) Verna Marie co-author of Let's do Tea

We have been to The Anzac Tea Parlour a couple of times and our 'ChrysantheMum's' will come in the spring. We are awaiting for the weather to be better.Bev has a charming place where she and Katrina make such delectable foods, presenting them so beautifully. It is a REAL 'Tea' room experience, and I believe Bev is passionate about being there to serve.

Anzac is a wonderful place to go and the food is even better! It's a hidden gem for sure! I can't wait to go back!

Bev always puts on a wonderful spread of yummy foods. Her prices are fair and her love of tea is infectious. Wonderful!

I love the tea parlour. I grew up in Australia and it is very authentic. It is well worth the visit.

We had a large party, including four small children, and we had a lovely time! The owner was very accomodating. My daughters loved the fairy bread and enjoyed wearing the fancy hats. The Almond Chicken Sandwich was so scrumptious, I ordered another. My mother was delighted with the large selection of tea's. We are already talking about going back!

I Love this place! I live near The Dalles and my friends and I go as often as possible. Food is great (especially the Almond Chicken Sandwiches) and service is always top notch.

Australian high tea at it's finest. I recommend the sampler with an added scone (pronounced skahn). I had the 'Katoomba', a larger sampler. The cheese quiches are to die for, the scones melt in your mouth, and the finishing touches of a chocolate covered strawberry & a cream puff ball round out a perfect dining experience. Home made soup? Yup, it's to die for too. We'll definitely be back.

Our recent visit here was a great experience. Bev was warm and welcoming and the afternoon tea was wonderful. Everything was delicious, generous and a graet value We shall return. Sharron deMontigny Tea Rooms Northwest

I couldn't believe finding a tea house like this in a small town like the Dalles. You get to pick your own antique cup and saucer for tea, plus being served tea in one of her beautiful antique teapots. I have had high tea at Butchart Gardens, at the Empress Hotel and several places in England, and I can't say that I enjoyed any of them more than in this charming little space.
