The meal was good and so was the atmosphere, but we were so looking forward to the creme tea and when we got it was awful almost tasted burnt we were so disappointed.

My dear friend and I finally had a moment to get together for lunch and tea. Even though we could not find a review,we decided to give Serendipi-tea a try. The lunch was great. However, our cream tea service was GREATLY lacking. Our waitress only brought us one plate and no tea - we actually had to ask for a pot of tea with our order of the 'Cream Tea'. Then, we only took 1 sip of the tea and that was it. We ordered English Breakfast but this had a smokey flavor and was bitter - like it had been steeped too long. It was very disappointing. We had planned on returning until we had the Cream Tea experience.

We had to wait to sit down for over 30 mins, with a reservation. we waited at least 20 minutes to get a tea orders, then over 20 minutes more to get our tea. The room was cold, the staff was cold and RUDE! We will not be back!

I called around to some tea places to try to find someplace to bring my 2 year old while my husbands and sons were out of town. They were very friendly, and were willing to not charge me for her and just let her share my food. When I made the reservation they told me about the dress up things they have for kids, though they did not seat me in that room. I had to ask about it when we got there and had been sitting awhile waiting for the food. It was quiet, and I heard to waitstaff complaining in the back which was off-putting. My daughter had fun with the dress up things, and she did really great. They brought her lemonade also and didn't charge me for it. I was happy they had a few iced teas to choose from as it was about 100 degrees that day, and I don't think they had air conditioning. The Black current iced tea was great. I thought the food was average, though I have been to several amazing tea places in CA, so I think my standards are high. It came with 4 tea sandwiches, fresh fruit which was wonderful, one scone (which she forgot to bring, I had to ask for it at the end of the meal), and 4 'desserts' that looked like pre-bought cookies. I was disappointed with the desserts, but everything else was good. I think I will give it another try, but will also try other places in the area. Reasonably prcied - my Afternoon Tea was $17.99.

The food is excellent! I have gone to this tea house 23 times bringing family and friends. All of them have enjoyed it immensely! Jeanne is the owner, tell her Colleen and Kaila sent you. The atmosphere is very relaxing and for fun they have hats and boas for young at heart girls to try on.

I ordered the Chicken Salad with a Muffin - the muffins are one of their homemade and supposed to be very special. The chicken salad was just average and the muffin was small, rubbery and tasted old. I would not return as I did not think the food was good or tasted fresh.

I just had a beautiful lunch with a dear friend. I thought the tea house was perfect! I couldn't stop thinking of the different people I wanted to bring here, who would enjoy it as much as I. The service was a little slow, but I didn't really mind as we were not in a hurry, and the food was worth the wait. Fresh and delicious.

Brilliant. Charming cottage atmosphere. We arrived around 4:00 while a private party was wrapping up. They found a table for the 2 of us and served a wonderful cream tea. The scones were the best I've had besides my own outside of Britain.

I went a couple days before christmas, a friend had told me about it. The tea was excellent, Order hot meal food, received cold along with a hair in the salad, waited 35 minutes to get our order, hostess was bitchy and kitchen help was loud. Bathrooms dirty

We had my daughter's 4th birthday here and it was good, although a bit formal. Be sure to ask for the Party Room if you are doing this as a group. The room holds 8 people. They also make a good birthday cake. Bring your hats, they have the boas.

This is a lovely tearoom, with wonderful ambience and warm, friendly service. The food is very good and nicely presented. The caramel almond bread pudding is divine!

The welcome here is unbeatable, but the price for tea and a scone is unbelievably high. The food is average; the setting delightful. I'd say if you needed a cheerup (minus the food) Jean will deliver!

My daughter, grand daughter and I went to lunch there on Jan. 14th. Jean, the owner, went way out of her way to accomodate us since we were 20 minutes late. We had quiche, salad and a wonderful muffin for lunch. And of course tea. We enjoyed it very much. It was a special day for us. I am from Florida and my sweet girls and I are going to make this a tradition when I am in town to visit. To go for tea! The atmosphere was delightful. Thanks,Jean for a wonderful day! The service was very slow. People who came in after us were served before us. My salad was a packaged kind and had quite a few brown slimy pieces. The decor was wonderful though
