This was a lovely tea room. Our group traveled from Akron Ohio and had such a lovely tea. Sorry it closed.

Unfortunately this lovely tea house closed several years ago. We miss it dearly in our community. Now a pizza shop is in there old location. So sad.

This charming victorian tearoom set the stage for a wonderful, cozy intimate retirement party. Everything from the large variety of teas, homemade tasty goodies and friendly service made this a memorable experience.

Visited for the first time yesterday. Lovely little place with excellent, attentive service. Wait staff was very helpful. Menu selection was ample. Quiche was over cooked but broccoli salad was very tasty. A beautiful (and free) dessert was served when told it was a birthday visit. Never felt hurried. I would recommend this place.

We live here in town, and love going to the sunday brunch. The Valentine's Day Brunch was wonderful! A chocolate fountain on the dessert table! They go to such lengths to make sure that you feel comfortable and at peace.

My family would visit this comfortable and friendly shop frequently when my grandmother lived nearby. We loved it so much we try to get back twice a year and are always looking for similar establishments near our homes. The food was always delicious and they always introduced us to our 'new' favorite teas. ( try the muffins they are wonderful ) The owner is a warm, friendly woman whom always remembered us and greeted everyone when she was in the shop.

The Serenity Tea House is worth a trip into rural Ohio! The atmosphere of this lovely restaurant is always serene and cheerful! The owner is a lovely woman who founded the local Montessori Preschool and was inspired to start her Tea House after watching the peacefulness with which the children approached a tea party at school. Filled with antique chairs and tables, the old wood floor of the turn of the century building creaks with many a step, adding to the ambience. It has been said that children in Coshocton took square dancing lessons in the same location many years ago. Teas offered are by Harney and Sons, which are delicious and served in a variety of pretty china pots. Be sure to ask for a candle tea warmer --it's beautiful! There is a fine selection of coffee, with espresso, cappucino, and lattes prepared on an authentic machine. The menu features many favorites--the cranberry salad is a must have! The house soup, a creamy chicken and vegetable soup is consistently delicious and served in a tea cup. The menu also features daily specials, including a scone of the day. My personal favorite is the Jam-filled Walnut. All are served with clotted cream, homemade jam, and lemon curd. Breakfast and lunch are served Monday through Thursday and while there is no menu for children, a PB & J will happily be prepared should your little one want to tag along. For adults, the menu selections vary from salads, sandwiches, and crepes, to specialty entrees like flatbread barbeque chicken pizza. While visiting the Coshocton area, one can visit Roscoe Village, a Canal era town with historical tour and shopping. The Lngaberger Homestead is only 20 miles away. An hour's drive into Holmes County will take you into the largest Amish community in the country.
