The best tea experience - including presentation, atmosphere and taste. It is definitely a place to soothe the mind, body and soul while enjoying a genuine victorian setting. Highly recommend.

What a marvelous experience! I took a friend for her first time in a tea room. It was the perfect choice. Such good personal service and such a lovely table and atmosphere. The tea was wonderful, kept warm through the whole meal, the serving pieces unique and fun. It was absolutly a wonderful time. Thank you Lady Vonna for spending time with us also! This was a great Ahhh moment! 5 stars!

A truly 'peaceful' experience. I love going with my husband, family and friends. The whole event is so unique - From the victorian setting to the wonderfully delicious and often surprising blends of food and tea. The presentation of the food and tea is so elegant, yet comfortable. This is my special place.

Stopped in for scones which are bubbed 'the best scones in the south' is I think how they put it. And I would have to agree. Though I haven't sampled many other scones in the south, these scones were among the best I have sampled and that includes tea at the Ritz! They served me two cream cheese scones and one blueberry scone on a platter with fresh fruit and flowers. The clotted cream was sweet and added to the overall enjoyment. Nice folks too!

I asked my daughter what it is that makes going to A Lil Peace of Heaven such an enjoyment. She summed it up perfectly by saying it's the 'experience.' From the moment you walk in and are greeted by Vonna or Millie, to choosing the perfect hat, the wonderful decor and delicious teas and food, they all add up to make the experience fabulous. I have taken numerous ladies and have yet to have one immediately think of someone else they 'just have to bring.' Thanks Vonna, Millie, and Christy for making my time in Beaufort more beautiful by sharing your tea and hearts with me.

I visited this tea house during the Live Nativity Scene at Christmas time, 2006. It was beyond Beautiful. I felt I was at the birth of Christ and went inside the tea house to a warm welcome and a wonderful tea that sticks in my mind. Your Winter's Dream tea just seemed to top the evening off. The hor'derves and food was just another notch in your belt. Fantastic!!!

This was my second visit to this Tea House on my vacation from PA. The staff is so friendly and warming, they make you feel like your right at home. The food and tea is delicious. The presentation on the tables are wonderful. They fit hats on you before sit down to enjoy your tea, it's fun and gets you in the tea mood. Thanks for making my trip down to SC another enjoyable and refreshing one.

My family and I were vacationing on Hilton Head Island. Unfortunatly this was the closest tearoom around and it was 40 minutes away; however the drive was well worth it. I recommend this tea room for anyone vacationing in the area. The staff were all so friendly, and the decor and presentation of the tea was beautiful. I recommend the Savannah Blue Lady tea.

I visited this Tea House with my mother-in-law and step-daughter (age 12). It was my first time enjoying high tea and one I hope to experience again soon. Unfortunately, I will have to wait until I visit SC again. None of the local Tea Houses in MA have the same quaint flair as this one. There is so much attention to detail from the excellent staff, the unique use of decorations (using hats, antique photos, gloves and cards - each table and place setting is individual), to the delicious food - everything assisted us traveling to a time when life was simpler. I highly recommend this Tea House. You will not be disappointed!

The best tea house I have visited. The staff is wonderful, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is so peaceful. I have visited for afternoon tea, special tea parties and scheduled special events. Each visit is 'heavenly'.

A very unique place. The people are great and the food and service is wonderful. I have been there 4 or 5 times and will go as often as possible.

I have gone here several times in the past year for Special occasions and each time was PERFECT. The atmosphere is very peaceful. It is fun to pick out a pretty hat to where while having tea and it is the perfect place to catch up on lost time with Special people. Which is why I chose here for friend's birthdays, a family reunion with my daughters and a first time visit to the South with my neice. The best menu was in Oct/Nov (you'll have to visit then to experience the treat!)
