This place is so fun! My mom has bought baskets at the local high school's booster bash that included gift cards to this place the past few years. It's the perfect little cute lunch spot. It has mismatched teacups, and the servers are always friendly. Their sandwiches and salads are amazing. A perfect lady date spot.

I love this place. They have a stupendous selection of teas, and awesome food. Everything from a full tea to dinner. Soup is to die for!

This place is fantastic. My family's been going to another teashop for a holiday outing for many years, but by chance we decided to try this place. This is our new tradition! There are so many fantastic teas, and the staff is very knowledgeable about building a tea service with a great flavor profile. The Earl Grey is especially delightful. The food is fantastic and all made in house, a definite bonus. Definitely try the roasted pepper soup, if they have it when you go! It's comfortable and homey, with lots of bright, fun decorations. An absolutely perfect afternoon was spent there.

I have been there twice and can't wait to go again! The ambience was great, the tea selection plentiful, and the food nicely prepared and great tasting. The experience was very pleasant.

I LOVE going to Infinitea Tea, whether it's for a regular lunch or a special event, the food is always great (especially the quiche!) The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the staff is always friendly and efficient. They make everyone feel special and give the best experience. My favorite tea is Lavender Berry. I have been drinking it every night, it helps me sleep. Love, Love love it!!!!

This was our first experinece with this tea room and I candefinately say, not the last. Warm, friendly and Samantha was a great at letting us know about the tea that we were going to sample, what to expect and the course we were having with the tea. We chose the Royal Treatment which had 4 different samples of teas, scones, finger sandwiches and deserts. What a wonderful experience and for me, a non-tea drinker all I can saw was that 'I'm hooked' Can't wait to get back there again! Thanks for a great experience

My husband and I both love coming to Infini tea after church on Sundays and sometimes on Saturdays in the Summer. I love everything about this place! The breakfast6 stratta is really tasty as well as the ice tea. I love the hot teas and the cute teapots. They know me by name. It is soooo cute as well. Can't say enough good about this place. Try it out!

Besides having excellent tea and food they make fantastic cakes. My fiance' had told me about a cake she used to get when she was younger. So for here birthday I wanted to get one for her. I could not find a bakery to make one. I went to Lori at Infini-Tea and they made the cake for me. It was awesome and they went way above and beyond and put orchids on the cake for me. We are also having them do our wedding cake and we have sampled the cakes. their cakes are out of this world and they make cakes you will not find anywhere else! They are more than just a tea house if you want to get a cake that is the best you have ever had, give them a try!

I had the pleasure of enjoying the ambiance, quality of food and service at Infini-Tea. They have over 30 kinds of freshly brewed teas that make my taste buds explode with flavor. The food and service are marvelous. I really look forward to going there again.

Oh Ladies and GENTS. this is such a wonderful experience for all the senses. my Husband loves to take a day off just to come there for lunch. and I am not a foodie and only come to Infinitea when someone says 'want to go to luncn?' the food has never been off and why would anyone want to go to a chain rest. when this is not only charming but so unique. we need more places like this to make you feel like our folks did when they recognize you and take an extra hour to unwind. the owners are hands on and being the chef is amazing what they create from the little kitchen. you wont be sorry,,,,,,,,

I'm ruined for all others! The stuff coffee houses are trying to pass off as tea is dirty water compared to the high quality loose leaf tea served here. The food is addicting and the friendly servers are as much a reason to go as the food and tea. And don't be intimidated by the fine china and hats, any ol' guy in jeans will enjoy this place too, just ask my husband.

The service was great. However, when comparing it to other tea rooms, the price was expensive. Also, the owner should consider having a professional write her infomation on her website. It is very poorly written and gives a somewhat lackluster view of a what is actually a nice little place. As far as the scones, although they have that cutsie little story abnot their scones, I am not sure that they are true representatives of what scones are supposed to be like. They should call them something other than Winslow Scones.

I have been to Infini-Tea twice. Once for a private party and once during regular business hours. I had a wonderful experience both times. I haven't been to many tea rooms, so I am in no way an expert. However, I did enjoy myself and would go back.

I am unsure where Debby has been to tea but she obviously has no concept of what a scone should be. Soft on the inside and warm is how they are served. If you want hard and cruchy go to Starbucks. The breads used for finger sandwiches are typical deli breads. If you want additional hot water all you need to do is ask. I too have been to tearooms around the world and they compare very favorably. The food choices at this restaurant are not typical of most, and are delicious (breakfast lunch or dinner)

I love this place. It isn't fancy like some I've gone to, but very cozy. Delicious scones and wonderful tasting sandwiches. Presentation is wonderful with garnishes and edible flowers. Their speciality iced tea flavors for this hot weather are perfect. The Pina Colada Carmen Miranda is very refreshing. Delightful, helpful servers.

Obviously most of the reviewers below have not been to many tearooms. I was excited to find out that we had a tea house near us but when I visited I was very unimpressed. I have been to tearooms all over the world and this is not even close to being good. The scones were moist which is not a good thing and it’s very cramped. The servers were nice but never filled up our hot water. The deserts lacked any flavor. The sandwiches were made on wonder bread and lacked any kind of presentation. I did try the tearooms again to see if it was just a bad day for them, but sadly it was even worse. Deb - Libertyville

infini-tea offers an authentic afternoon tea experience. The Royal Treatment lives up to its name! This multi course treat includes freshly made scone (various varieties), soup (a real bonus!) freshly made finger sandwiches and delectable dessert sampler. I was presented four teas to sample and the server was very knowledgable. I look forward to my next visit!

The scones are absolutely the best! And the tea choices out of this world and the leaves are so fresh- you can steep them three times and still have tons of flavor.Nothing tacky about the decor, even the bathrooms are decorated with such nice detail. I think the staff is attentive and very informed.Great for holiday get togthers!

By far the sweetest secret in Antioch is this perfect cozy tea room. The tea selections are fantastic only to be rivaled by the food. The soups are to die for! The scones are the real deal. I love this place! Save room for dessert.

We have been to many tea houses and this is by far the worst. The selection of sandwiches was very poor and the scones were warm and spongy. The service was sloooow they forgot we were there. The timer they bring to your table is annoying. And the deserts are a joke. The tables are on top of each other so it is very claustrophobic. The decor is a bit on the tacky side. I will never return

Having spent some of my college years in England, this was the closest I have been to reexperiencing those very treasured times in my life. The service, the atmosphere, the one on one experience with the owners, and may I just add that I nearly cried when I saw how the scones were prepared with jam, lemon curd, AND the clotted cream. I truly fell hard for this place, and it's definitely going to become one of my favorite 'haunts,' even though I live a good 45-55 minutes away. I could not thank them enough for such a good time...my children AND the owners!!!

This tea shop is located in an 100 year old historic building. The owners worked hard to have a beautiful period decor. I am lucky enough to work in this town twice a week. I bring my mom in for a wonderful lunch after haircuts. I have also studied for tests and read for my classes on Saturday morning with a fantastic breakfast or just a pot of tea and fancy breads. The owners work in the shop, and carefully train their staff in cheerful good service, and the huge nuber of teas available. I think there are over 60, including herbal, decaf, green, and black. a great place!

We visited Infini-tea in 2005 and enjoyed it but the decor was a little too old-fashioned for us. The room is very small and the tables all very close together. The server was nice and knowledgable about the teas which was great! The sandwiches and pastries were good, as were the scones. I would return for tea, but wish they woul update the decor a bit.

My daughter and six other young women started an authentic English tea club four years ago in Kenosha, Wi. We visited Sweet Williams tea room in Woodstock and loved it. They closed which saddened us. We had tea at the Ritz Carlton in Chicago which was absolutely awful! Then this wonderful tea room was found and has been visited twice by us. Everything is superior here. The choices of teas, food, atmosphere and the knowlegable servers is five star status. I am fond of the book 'Ida Mae Tutweiler and the Traveling Tea Party'by Ginnie Siena Bivona and I mentioned to the owner that her tea room reminded me so much of the warm, friendly one in the book. You will truly enjoy a visit!!!

I was introduced to infini-tea nearly a year ago by my mother-in-law, and it has become a very special place for my girlfriends and I to gather, have some of the finest teas available, relax, and be catered to by the most knowledgeable staff. Excellent service and great attention to detail- I have had tea at many other places, but infini-tea is my absolute hands-down favorite and is second only to teatime in England. :)I would heartily recommend a visit to infini-tea if you're in the area- you'll leave feeling refreshed and pampered- I do! :)

What a wonderful and charming tea house. The service and food was outstanding. The hostess is knowledable and gave us the grand tour and treatment I highly recommend this incredible establishment, it is a great asset and credit to Antioch as well as the north shore.

I loved everything about this place. My friend wanted to go out for a girls day. She told me she knew the perfect place and it was. I have never seen people that know so much about tea and could pick the type that you would like by looking at you.Their suggestions were on the mark.

I was amazed at the total high level of service at a tea room in such a small town. However, I am used to fine dining as my son is a Culinary Institute of America graduate, who was Sous Chef at the Brown Palace in Denver, and my husband was an International traveler and we enjoyed some of the finest dining in the world. If I dismiss all the above I was still super impressed from the Hostess (Owner)? who greated us, the way hot tea was served to my friend with a timer that rang after the 4 min. period it took to steep and whereon our waitress immediately returned to pour her tea. From the table linens which I noticed were changed after each diner had departed, to the tasteful music and the bus boy who dropped a napkin on the way to reset a table and then returned that particular napkin to the kitchen. I highly recommed this tea room and will return for yet another meal, very soon. Sincerely, Gailan B. Sheahan

I finally had a chance to take my mother to Infini-Tea for lunch this week. While the tea selection is large, they were out of the one type that we had both wanted to sample. The food was good, as was the presentation. The addition of the edible flower on each plate was lovely. While the dessert (tuxedo cake) was delicious, we waited a long time to both order our dessert and then to get it. The restaurant itself is quite nice, with many quaint touches like mismatched, antique silverware, teacups and chairs. The wait staff, though, was either not very attentive (like ours) or overly attentive to the point of being obnoxious. In spite of this, though, I plan a return visit.

I took a friend for the Royal Treatment. We spent nearly 3 hours there, talking with the owner and our server. It is a charming place and the menu is great. Our server, James, concocted some of his own special teas for us which we ended up purchasing because they were so good. Next visit I think I will try lunch or dinner. They also serve breakfast now on the weekends.

I went with two friends for the Royal Treatment. There was more than enough food served. A poppy seed bread was unique and their cucumber sandwiches delicious. They also have a Royal treatment for children. My friends and I will be back with our children.

The newly turned-out Infini-Tea Restaurant in downtown Antioch reminds one of the song, 'I love coffee, I love tea, I love the java and the java loves me!' No matter what your preference, caffeine or herbal, you will enjoy yours on a cloth-draped table in this charming, vintage-style ambience and confortable eatery. Delicious wraps, sandwiches and specialty pastries are served on lovely dishware by friendly wait staff garbed in immaculate white. All ages and dress styles are welcome. Count this experience as extremely pleasant and not one to be missed! Newest hours are Tuesday through Sunday.

Went with my 80 year old mother, on the recommendation of a friend. We were both absolutely delighted!! The atmosphere, choice of teas, server..everything was wonderful. I thanked the owner for bringing a touch of class to our neck of the woods. And there was a gathering of the Red Hat's...it was truely a fun afternoon. We also loved the food!! What a surprise, what a treat to find this charming tea room!!!

I was a visitor several months ago and found the atmosphere, service, and teas exceptional and enjoyed the addition of soup to the afternoon tea. The owner is a sweet woman and will take the time to chat even thought she is a busy woman. I travel from Rockford and plan on visiting again soon.
