Sad to say this tea room is no longer open...has not been for quite some time..... While it was open...it was a delight... We miss it....

The food and tea were good, but the fluorescent lighting and sitting right next to a stove and sink took away from the comfortable feeling we expected. Maybe they can change these bright lights!!!

      Tearoom response:

Dear Cerise, We're sorry you were disappointed with the interior of our tea room, but we designed it as a cozy English cottage- not an elegant formal dining room. Perhaps the look we were going for was not what you expected. This is a multi-functional room for us, as we also teach cooking classes and have other informative tea related venues year round ( this explains our choice of lighting). Appreciate your comments. My 2 daughters and my mother went to the Lady Jane Tearoom and immediately felt comfortable and at home. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was the best! We even put on some of their hats and gloves from their collection. We didn't want to leave it was so relaxing. We will definitely go again. Marsha and Cyndee were fun and had a beautiful display of teapots and cups, several of which we purchased. What a nice way to spend a Saturday morning- family, fun and tea!

I have never before visited a tearoom, but wanted to have a girly luncheon for my bridesmaids. Plans at another tearoom fell through and, panicked, I called Lady Jane's Tearoom to see if I still had time to make a reservation. I did, and what a wonderful, magical experience it was. Marsha and Cyndee went out of their way make the experience extra special, even though they had such short notice. My bridesmaids loved playing dress-up with the hats, stoles, and gloves. The actual tea and treats were fabulous and we're still raving about them. I'm not a big tea drinker, but now I know that's because I've been drinking inferior tea. Lady Jane has convinced me to branch out and try REAL tea, made the proper way. As soon as I can round up another group, I plan to go back.

What a delightful way to spend time with friends and enjoy the ambiance. The scones were just out of the oven when we arrived and served with wonderful clotted cream and lemon curd. Dainty flowers adorned the china trays. What more can I say? One of the best experiences I have had to date.

We LOVE this tearoom. We have been to tea at many different places. Our favorite is the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans. Everytime we go to tea we find it hard to top the Windsor Court. This experience did just that. The food was excellent, the tea exquisite and the service fantastic! We will go back again and again. Look out, Windsor Court!

The service, atmosphere and tea assortment were awesome. The entire experience was well beyond my imagination. I know that this is a place that I will refer to friends and family members. I myself plan on returning.
