Located in downtown Wheaton and a block from the Metra train station, this is a great place to sit, visit,or read the papers/book with a cup or pot of tea (mine Earlgrey) and a pastry. Bright, sunny, clean place.

Not closed!! Elmhurst location closed, but not Wheaton.

Serene Teaz is a great place to purchase tea. They have over 130 different teas with a description and aroma jar for each one, so you can learn about each tea and smell each one as you browse the shelves. They also have a sample bar, so you can taste each one of the teas without even making a purchase. The people that work there love what they do and are always happy to help and brew your tea. The atmosphere in the store is very tranquil; they have wonderful music and peaceful decorations that make it seem like a sanctuary. They also have delicious pastries' and you are allowed to request a private party in the store. The store also has holiday and seasonal sales on different types of teas. Wether you're a tea connoisseur or if you just started drinking tea, Serene Teaz is a great place to relax, rejuvinate and nourish your body, mind and soul.

this place has turned me into a tea drinker, i'm addicted and have often found myself waiting for them to open or rushing before the closing. the variety of teas is amazing and as it is a free tasting bar they can all be sampled, tasting cards are handy for keeping track of your favs (i carry mine in my purse) this small business is great with service and also dedicates itself to tea education with classes and helpful advice, come and support this wonderful business!

In my opinion, this is the best tea house around. The staff is extremely knowledgable, helpful, and pleasant (not pushy at all). It is an extremely relaxed enviroment.... as tea should be.

An excellent tea establishment! The staff is quite knowledgable and helpful, the selection is awesome! Once a month, they have a special tea (with pastries and such -- yummy!) Visit their location in Elmhurst, IL, too!

this is a tea merchant not a tea room. they will make up any tea you wish to sample before purchase-a big plus. they do have a couple a tables and chairs where you can have tea and a limited number of sweets. a bright, cheery, clean place. very casual. mainly and order to go place. they are in downtown wheaton, a block from the metra station. street parking can be tight, but there is a free multi-storied parking lot across the street from them. some great shopping in the area. totally barrier free.

This is a wonderful little spot hiding away in a corner. Although the selection is small (due to the size of the establishment), it is very good, with a nice variety. They primarily carry whole leaf teas, including greens, oolongs, black, flavored, and decaf, as well as herbals. The place itself is small and slightly crowded, though cozy and comfortable. The staff is knowledgable and helpful, as well as friendly and good natured. If you ask they will offer suggestions. If you don't ask, they won't hound you. And it's always nice to be able to sample the tea you are interested in before buying.

Well-meaning folk, really. Fairly knowledgeable. But the space is very small and the selection leaves a lot to be desired.

This is a wonderful tea room! I was able to finally visit this weekend and was quite surprised at the wide selection of loose teas available for purchase. The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly and encourage you to taste any teas that you wish. I will definitely be visiting often!
