This was a great tea shop while it was open, but it has unfortunately closed down since I last went (over a year ago). The website says they are opening a new location, but doesn't have a timeline.

This tea place is wonderful. It is close to a courtyard where you can take your tea and enjoy the weather (when it is not too hot). Also, they offered wifi access (last time I was there it was free) so it is another great place to surf the web or get work done.

I love the tea here!! A great selection of white, green, oolong, black teas from around the world. My favorite though is the Mate Carnival which has mate mixed with rooibos, cocoa pieces and almond. Tastes as good as it smells. The woman who works there is extremely knowledgable and gives very useful recommendations based on your taste preferences.

Leaforever is a modern and stylish tea house located near old town Pasadena in the Paseo Colorado mall. They offer a wide variety of very nice loose-leaf teas. You can buy all the teas prepacked in tins, or by the ounce from the big canisters at the back of the store. There is free wi-fi, and divine massage chairs. They serve hot tea and iced tea by the cup and hot tea by the pot. There is a small selection of pastries available on a daily basis, but a full afternoon tea is available if you call the store a few days ahead for a reservation. The sandwiches, cookies, salad and tea offered with the afternoon tea were quite good, and there was certainly plenty of food for everyone.

This contemporary teahouse is located in Paseo Colorado, the high-end open-air mall just blocks from the core of Old Town Pasadena. With a modern Asian vibe, the black, red and gold scheme creates a slick, polished impression. Dramatic rows of large red canisters on black shelves line the back wall of the large space. Each table has a rounder of glass jars to smell tea and aide in your selection from their 300+ assortment. It is a comfortable place to relax and use their free wireless, which is made even better by the friendly service. I chose Pai Mu Tan with safflowers and pomegranate. They carry fine tea goods from around the world including Japanese cast iron pots, Bodum pots and unique ceramic tea sets. Their mission is to promote a healthy lifestyle and offer an ambience of tranquility – I could feel both accomplished during my visit.
