I have eaten at the Tea Room many times and each time it has been a delight. The service is good, the food is delicous and the atmosphere makes you feel really special. It's a real treat to go there. My friends and I return again and again. East Texas girl

I've been going to the Glenwood for years. They are always friendly and hospitable. They offer a wide variety of hot and cold teas. Also, they have homemade scones served with lemon curd and debonshire cream

Very Victorian tearoom with excellent service and absolutely the best food. There are also little booths for shopping for antiques, beads, jewelry, teas, etc. The staff and owner are wonderful and explain all menu options. The scones are large and tasty with the tradational toppings.

My friends and I have enjoyed the Tearoom for several years now. I especially enjoy browsing in the gift shop at the end of the meal.

I have gone to the Glenwood Village Tearoom many times because it is the cutest little tearoom in Shreveport. I try to bring as many of my friends there as I can. It lacks in its seleaction of teas, and the service last time I went was horrible, but the food is delightful. My favorite dishes are the basil cheese tart with the fruit and yogurt and the victorian soup. The prices are a little steep for a tea room...but it is well worth it.

This is a wonderful place to visit. - The best I've been to in fact. You are sure to enjoy your experience there. I love everything there!

Absolutely delightful. Some people may say that it is pricey, I say it is worth every penny. The chicken salad is out of this world delicious. The chai may be from concentrate, but they put their own unique spin on it because you can't make it like they do at home! The girls and I love to spend an afternoon at 'the 'wood' at least once or twice a month. Nothing like it!

This is the best place on earth for a fantastic breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere is true to it's roots, quiet and very relaxing. The food is reasonably priced and worth every penny. Great shopping in the gift shop area.

I have so wanted to visit this tearoom and finally was able, but was a little disappointed. In our party of 3 we had drinks, a pot of tea (small), the chutney pecan chicken salad, gourmet hamburger, rice/mushroom soup and a scone. It was VERY pricy for what it was. The addition of pecans to the chicken salad was interesting, but didn't make the chicken salad that much better. The Portebello/Rice soup was bland. The chai tea tasted like it had been made from a concentrate. The scone was quite tasty but expensive for just one scone ($3.50)., I have to admit I enjoyed the tearoom itself and the service was quick and pleasant. I don't know if I will go back.

Its a great place for the gals, though the male patronage is surprisingly high! The shepherd's pie is a must-have on a rainy day.

Good food but rather pricey. Compared to the Edgemont it was fair.

I attended a baby shower at the tea room, and I am now trying to find time to bring all of my friends there! The chicken salad was amazing! I will definitely be back!

I have found a cure for the mid-week workday blues-Sharon's mini-regal salad,a cup of tomato soup, and a generous pot of PG Tibbs. And if its a particularly long week the chocolate mousse .
