We stumbled into this tea room not really knowing about it. There was this darling church and tea room in the basement. The food was excellent and the atmosphere lovely. We will go back again. I ran into an old friend attending a high school reunion group there. Great fun!

Our waitress was not very friendly. She was slow to smile and seemed distracted. She quickly told us about 1/2 of what we needed to hear to understand what to expect from our experience at the tea room. I believe a friendly server could have much improved our visit. ( our first cup of tea was lukewarm and butter was offered at the end of the meal.)

Had my daughters wedding shower there this past Saturday and all I can say is that if you are considering this place DO NOT HESITATE! It far exceeded my expectations. The food, the service, the staff were above and beyond! The kitchen even made a special cake for the shower that was beyond delicious. The room they gave us was comfortable and private and very quaint. We were never rushed even tho I know the place was packed! They let us enjoy this time celebrating my daughters special day. The staff was service at its best! The food homey and tasty! Desserts....did someone say chocolate tart? I can't thank them enough for helping to make this day a great memory.

Service was good but the new Tropical ice tea was lacking. I really wish they would bring back the TROPICAL Tea by Rituals, that they use to use!! Please bring it back!!! We loved the tropical ice tea by Rituals. With summer around the corner we would love to enjoy a big glass of that tea.

My husband and I had lunch at the tea room on our Wedding Anniversary. We were very pleased. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. We had hot peach tea and it was very hot every time it was poured. We were very happy with the overall experience and we will be back. For those who think the menu is limited, I don't feel it is for a tea room. I don't see how a small opperation like this could offer more. We were thrilled with the entire experience.

I was disappointed that they changed the tropical ice.tea. The ice tea was not nearly as good as the one from Rival. When the server poured the hot tea, it was Luke warm at best. We would like to also see a hot plate offered more often

I visited with my granddaughter. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was personable. Food was a little bland for my taste and could have used a bit more seasoning. Chicken salad was a little dry. The desserts were okay but had too many cake items and no fruit pies or cobblers. I think it would be better if drinks and desserts were offered at a separate price so if you only want to drink water or are too full for dessert or would like to share a dessert, you have that option. All in all, it was a pleasant meal but I have gone to other tea rooms which I enjoyed more.

I was alone today and even though I live in Olathe, wanted to try Henry's. I must admit I wasn't sure after reading the first so/so reviews. I am not easy to please, and the food, price, portions and atmosphere were above reproach. I am very glad I went and will go back even though it's a bit of a drive. I absolutely did not notice any smell in the basement either. It was absolutely lovely all around! The only change I would recommend is serving the salad dressing on the side and I forgot to request that.

Small portions, big price tag, poor service, funny smell in basement, I drove all the way from Smithville and was sorely disappointed. Waitress acted like she was too busy to mess with us, too busy talking to another lady in kitchen. won't come back ever!

Sorry, but I have been coming here for years and is not the same. I always just loved coming here. I am not a happy customer. I saw no one I knew, all employees were like they didn't care. The price has increased, ok I can understand that. Everything has gone up, but the portions have decreased with the price going up. That I don't understand. This is all very disappointing.

Everything was going wrong. Our waitress took over ten minutes to serve my friend and I. My meal was very small with one thin slice of Turkey on my panini sandwich . Our waitress was so busy with a birthday party. That my friend had to get up and ask twice for refills on our tea. The little sugar cookies were never served. We waited over twenty minutes for our food after ordering. Over fifteen minutes for our dessert after we order it. Sad part was the price 17.25$ its not worth that much. I've been coming to this tea room for many years. Ever since its been only 12.95$ for lunch. I'm very disappointed at the service, food and price.

      Tearoom response:

Thank you Amber for your request. We will bring the turkey panini back in the next few days. Thanks!

The Tea Room service is not quite as good as it use to be, but I haven't been there since the first of the year, The food is still very good, but portions are a lot smaller. My biggest problem is the antique store. They use to have the best people there that knew antiques and the inventory, and were so friendly. Now I can't even say they are average, not nice and no knowledge. You should see about rehiring some of you really great people back.

Have been several times and this is the first time I felt dissappointed. Ordered the quiche. The quality was great, however the size of my serving was smaller than my mini crescent dinner roll. My dessert was also much larger than my quiche. Quiche was about 3 small bites. It didn't feel like I got my money's worth. I probably won't order the quiche again, even though it was tasty.

I took five family members in for a belated Mother's day lunch. The ages ranged from 75 years old to my daughter who's 5 years old. My 26 year old nephew from Texas also join us ladies for lunch. We had the best time. From the moment we sat down we felt well taken care off. None of our drinks ever got below half full. All of our entrees and desserts were perfect. Ann was our server and she was WONDERFUL. She made each of us feel like family. We bought a few items from the store above after lunch. It was a perfect day!

I'd give this place a 7 out of 10 for the food and a 2 out of 10 for the service. The atmosphere was nice, but I expected tea in a tea room, not one hot choice or bags I didn't like either. Two iced teas were offered, but I wanted a variety of hot teas in a tea room. I won't return.

I know it's an old church, but I couldn't even eat my meal as the mildew smell was so overwhelming. We were there for a baby shower and my daughter almost had an asthma attack because of the smell and we had to leave. Didn't even get to eat out meal. Maybe someone could clean with bleach or change the air filters?

This is my favorite tea room here in the States, I've yet to find one here in Missouri to rival it (the only one that I have been to that could even compete was when I was in England). I and my friends attend often. It's a wonderful repast and de-stresser when you're a college student. The food is delicious (my friends and I call it 'clean food' because it makes you feel really good after you've eaten it), and the tea is always excellent. We always enjoy taking a look around the shop after we've finished and everyone is very friendly. I hope to take my own children to Henry's one day and keep in tune with a family tradition!

My wife and I are retired, and we have stopped in on occasion and it has always been a good experience. I'm a retired attorney, and I feel a need to comment on Jill Sexton's unusual review below. What an amazing tirade. It had nothing to do with the food or service at the tearoom, apparently Ms. Sexton had an alleged unsatisfactory experience with an estate sale. I'm going to offer some advice as a retired attorney. Ms. Sexton, go ahead and file all those complaints you went on and on about...The BBB, MO Attorney General, the United Nations (just kidding). When you write a review that is just totally off the deep end, you leave yourself open to a defamation lawsuit. I would like to advise you to calm down, but you are obviously way beyond any capability of rational thought. Maybe I'll run into you at the tearoom, I would be happy to buy you a cup of tea.

Not only did you have my mom's Christmas statue (the man and boy pulling the Christmas tree) for sale in your shop, I now see you're using her goblets in your tearoom. Please don't try to tell me those aren't Jan's goblets, I drank out of them every holiday for 50 years. Why do you tell people you don't put things from the estate sales in your shop when you do? You and Mary called my sister from mom's house the day you picked up the stove you bought because you couldn't find the garage door opener for the barn. When I went to the house that evening, I quickly noticed the christmas statue and goblets were gone off the table in the living room as I had put them there the night before when my husband and I were emptying off your tables in the front bedroom. I'm assuming the reason you never cashed the $68 check I left for the table (the one I left the next day with the woman who sleeps at your front cash register) was because you felt guilty about taking the statue and glasses? and then some woman there tried to tell me she had just gotten mom's statue out of your attic. Well, she may have, but it was still mom's statue and you probably put it there the day before!!! I am fine with Mary and your daughter, Lee, but I think you are a dishonest person and I am definitely filing a complaint about your company with the Better Business Bureau as you broke just about everything in our contract--we were not paid on time, the junk dealers were in and out of my mom's house for 17 DAYS after the sale, then they shut the water off and didn't leave a note, I almost flooded the place when I turned it back on so that a lady who was looking at the house could use the toilet and water started spraying everywhere from the icemaker hose, and then you had my mom's items for sale in your shop. Believe me, you have not heard the last of me. I will trash your company any chance I get, on facebook, twitter, etc, until you admit what you did. Flona Smith warned me that were not an honest person (she loved your husband, couldn't stand you) and I should have listened to her as she is a wonderful woman. I lived next door to her for 15 years and never heard her say an unkind word about anyone but you, and I should have listened!! My sister may have been the executor of mom's will, but I am a one third owner and I will definitely be filing a complaint about your practices with the Better Business Bureau and the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce. My husband took a picture with his cell phone of mom's christmas statue in your shop, and I took one in the tearoom of mom's goblets, and I have the pictures off your website from mom's sale downloaded on a zip disc, so I can defintely show that the items were in mom's house, then in your shop. I think it is very deceitful how you told us that the things could be 'donated' at the end of the sale, leading us to believe that they could be donated to Goodwill, Ozanam, somewhere like that, when actually, they were being 'donated' to YOU to sell in your shop and then you sold the rest of the 'donations' to your junk dealer. Sorry, but you were deceitful and this is a scam. My son goes to school in Warrensburg and I walked around the antique mall there last weekend when we took him back and saw several of my mom's items there. I asked at the counter, and the lady told me they bought out estate sales frequently. I took pictures of these items, also. If you are going to sell things to a junk dealer afterwards, you should tell the people that and then give them a percentage of what you sell the leftovers for, not tell them it's being 'donated'. I truly felt the way you presented it the day Jenny signed the contract was extremely deceitful and you should have been upfront about what you actually do when the sale is over. Again, I will be filing complaints with everyone I can think of, if you simply would have gotten on the phone and apologized the day I had to come to your store and pick up the check that supposedly had been mailed a week before (amazing that the check never showed up-probably because it had never been sent!!), you could have saved yourself a lot of grief as I will be trashing your company every chance I get. I have been an RN for close to 30 years at Children's Mercy and work with the public everyday (in fact, one of the nurse practitioner's I work with mother was one of your sorority sisters from CMSU, believe me, I have told her what I think about you, she was horrified, but apparently not surprised, at your behavior) She also suggested I file a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General's office about your practices, which I think I will do, also. Again, all of this could have been avoided if you would have just gotten on the phone and apologized for letting the junk people trapise thru mom's house for 17 days, for your bookkeeper's incompetence, and for not being honest about 'donating'. And to think my mom thought you were her friend. If this is how your treat a 'friends' family, I really feel sorry for the unsuspecting, general public!!!! I truly feel sorry for Mary, as she seems to be a nice lady and her job seems to be cleaning up your messes!!! I am sorry that your mother was ill, but I am sure you know my mom was also caring for her ill brother and our grandma who turned 100 last week, so Jenny and I were dealing with that also during this time (not to mention our alcoholic, meth-head brother who stole thousands of dollars fom our mom over the last 10 years.) Again, all I ever asked for was an apology and you didn't see fit to do this, so now you can deal with complaints to the BBB, Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce and the State Attorney General's Office.

I took a friend for lunch at your tearoom yesterday for her birthday. I had made reservations, but the experience was not satisfactory. We did of receive any scones, no refills on our drinks until we were eating dessert, soup was not brought until we asked about it, no butter for rolls. The service was extremely poor. This was the first time we had experienced the poor service as we have eaten there several times.

I wanted to take my friend somewhere different for her 60th birthday, and we were both so happy we chose Henry's Tea Room. I was taken to Henry's tea room by a dear friend. It has since become one of my favorite places and I take everyone I can to enjoy it! It is like a 'mini-vacation' in the middle of the day. The food is fantastic and service phenomenal. I always feel relaxed and refreshed when I leave. I have brought two of my older nieces (one 17 and one 9) to the tea room and both loved it. The staff went out of their way to make them feel comfortable and special. I have read several of the reviews and while most are good, a few have been negative. I encourage everyone to come and try it! I am sad that some folks were not pleased with their experience, but please don't let that discourage you. You will not be disappointed.

      Tearoom response:

Thank you Nicole for your kind words. We are delighted that we can make you feel special. See you again soon!

5/8/12 - The KCPT CHECK PLEASE broadcast and Henry's website does not state that 'reservations' are highly suggested but both should state this. Henry's own website under FAQs says reservations are only required for parities of 7 or over and for their special events. If the use of reservations had been stressed, I would not be writing dissenting remarks about my almost experience at this establishment. My friend and I had looked forward to enjoying our first experience at Henry's Tea Room in Lee's Summit. Based on our experience today, however good the food might be, we can not recommend the Tea Room based on 'service' and lack of managing our expectations. We arrived at 11:15 a.m. and went directly to the Tea Room to see if or when they could seat us as we did not have reservations - if they had no opennings we would have come back another day or if they had an openning later this afternoon, we would have done that. There were 2 other parties of 2 who did not have reservations. We were all told that they had a number of reserved seatings to sit first but that all 3 parties would be seated in the next 10-15 minutes about 11:30. It wasn't until 11:45 minutes later that 1 party of 2 was seated and the remaining 2 parties told it would might be another few minutes for us as they had to sit those with reservations first.........By noon, 45 min after our arrival and being told that they would have seating available in 10-15 minutes, they were now saying as they were behind in seating those with reservations it might be another 30 minutes at best for either party to be seated. Please note that while waiting, we also observed that the seating of parties with reservations were regularly told that there was a 10 min wait for the party to be seated. It appeared that they may have a problem managing time allotted for clients' meals. We left almost an hour after our arrival as the number of clients with reservations waiting to be seated was increasing as well as our wait time. If we'd been advised when we arrived that there would have been a minimum hour wait, we would have come back at another time to try ths CHECK PLEASE suggested venue and hopefully found the fare to be as good as advised. As a part of the Downtown Lee’s Summit Spring Open House on Saturday, I was able to attend the free class hosted by Henry’s Tearoom. I thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on class in learning to make various dishes utilizing one main biscuit recipe. During the class, we were able to complete and sample three delicious dishes in a short amount of time. I appreciate Charla Henry sharing her family recipes and look forward to possible classes in the future. Thank you for a wonderful time!

      Tearoom response:

Thanks for coming to the class Sheryl. We were delighted to share our family recipes and hope you will join us again soon!

I didn't go to eat but attending a free class offered on Saturday. The owner, Charla, presented the class for one hour and did an excellent job. She gave a one dish recipe which had been in her family for many years. It was a biscuit recipe which you can make five different dishes from. This was a treasured hour for me. She presented four dishes all in one hour's time and each dish was very yummy. I told her I thought she should present some classes where one can pay a nominal fee to cover her costs. Thanks Charla for the wonderful recipe and your desire to share tips that most people won't tell you about.

      Tearoom response:

We were glad you joined us for the class and hope to have another class soon!

Food is quite good here (except for the 'homemade' canned crescent roll) BUT this is not a real tea room. They serve afternoon tea occasionally-one day every few months (and if you call and ask if they serve tea-they say yes-but they only mean the beverage not the whole culinary experience). Only three choices of tea (as in green, herbal, and a flavored black tea)and they pour the tea into glass teacups and saucers-so the tea cools quickly (ugh!). Was difficult to get refills-had to ask continually. They seem to have problems with avalibility-told us only one serving of their quiche left-so we ordered accordingly-then the table after us-they magically had more servings! Bit disconcerting. Also, they do not tell you up front the cost of the meal-it is a 'verbal' menu-no printed menu and costs. Go for the food not the tea. Tea lovers go elsewhere.

      Tearoom response:

Thank you for writing your review although it hurts when people are not happy and do not give us a chance to correct any problems or miscommunications. However, I hope to clarify them now.
Webster says a tea room is where a light lunch is served to a primarily to ladies. We are very fortunate that we have several men a week as well. We don’t claim to be like any other business but rather we choose to be different. We are careful to call our high tea events “Henry’s High Tea”. When someone calls asking if we serve tea, the first thought is regarding a beverage and not about a method of service or event. We do offer our “Henry’s High Tea” events about 4 times a year and they are events! Because it’s very labor intensive to make the small sandwiches and desserts it is physically impossible for us to offer high tea options during regular lunch hours. In regards to tea the beverage, we offer one hot tea flavor “on tap” and two iced teas every lunch. A tea chest is also available with personal teapots.
Our rolls are made here in our kitchen from quality ingredients including butter and yeast. They are a popular carryout item and sold by the dozens. We are glad they look so perfect that you assumed they came from a can! Our quiches are also made from scratch and with unpredictable entrée needs we may have one in the oven baking while the last fully baked serving is used. As always, we try to offer only high quality foods and quantities may be limited. I've been to Europe several times and in the European countryside menus are usually verbal and vary according to availability.
As an entrepreneur, I welcome your comments and strive to make my business the best. We sincerely hope you will return, introduce yourself, and let us serve you. Charla Henry
Today four of us 'gals' were greeted and served by Taylor. What a great experience we had. The food was outstanding; Taylor's professional food service attitude was wonderful. The only comment we might have is that it may have been nice to have been given a choice of teas, although what we were served was very good. That may be something you might want to consider doing with your customers. Thanks for a great luncheon.

Henry's Antiques, Collectibles & Tearoom in quaint downtown Lee's Summit, Missouri, has easily become my husband's and my favorite lunchtime destination. No matter what selection we order, the food is always delicious and beautifully presented. The friendly, gracious service truly complements the welcoming and relaxing setting. We visited Henry's with great anticipation of tasty morsels, refreshing teas and a virtual treasure hunt in this old church full of antiques. We were not to be disappointed. The passion fruit iced tea was very good and they kept my glass full. Loved the not-too-sweet, crispy lemon square served as a starter/palate cleanser. I particularly enjoyed the cinnamon-raisin bread panini, and the quiche was light, fluffy and full of flavor. The green salad and cold pasta salad sides rounded the meal off perfectly. They have a nice variety of desserts including fruity selections and decadent chocolate cake. The service was prompt, cheerful and polite. The chairs were comfortable, and the ambience charming and relaxing. And you can't beat the all-inclusive price. One of the best birthday lunches I've had and definitely at the top of my list of favorite tearooms. We had fun exploring each room and did find treasures to take home! We can't wait to go back.

Today was my first visit here. I brought my mother in law, who is from out of town because we both love tea rooms, and I brought my toddler. We both really enjoyed the tea, the selection of desserts and the entrées. The tomato soup was great! I would have been completely satisfied if my son hadn't been charged a full priced meal for a cup of fruit and grilled cheese. I appreciated that they were accommodating to him, our service was excellent, but $15 for a child's meal was rather steep. I'm not sure if I'll be back because of it.

Restaurant is in a converted quaint old church now an antiques show room. Rotating art, decor, and fittings, make it always interesting and ever changing. Food is just lovely. All home made and high quality. The chicken salad is killer as is the pot pie. I love thier fresh baked rolls and their desserts are transcendent; my favorites the chai cake and carrot cake (and I don't even like carrot cake anywhere else!). Lunches are fixed price with entree; salad; side; dessert; and drink. Service is always excellent, quick and efficient without making you feel rushed. I normally drink iced teas, so I can't speak to the selection of hot teas (though I do see hot teas served in antique tea pots), but they do have special tea events advertised throughout the year. I've returned many times with friends and relatives who to a person all loved Henry's Tea Room in Lee's Summit Missouri.

I planned a surprise tea & luncheon soirée for my Grandma's birthday and couldn't have been more pleased with my choice of Henry's Antiques, Collectibles & Tearoom, as opposed to any other area tearoom. Henry's was everything I was hoping for in a tearoom and beyond. When pulling into the parking lot you are greeted by the beautiful and grand old renovated church that Henry's is housed in, which I find just adds to the charm of the experience. Upon entering, you can either go downstairs to the tearoom or venture upstairs to find an array of different levels and rooms possessing a wealth of, well...just as the name says...a superb assortment of antiques and collectibles. We were all directed downstairs to what I now refer to as 'The Floral Room'. The decor was very feminine and elegant with a real traditional feel...not to mention the yummy smell of home-cooked foods swirling about. We had a reservation for 8 but only 6 ladies were able to attend. Regardless, the service was quite good. We had a starter of some of the best peach tea I do believe I've ever tasted...everyone remarked so. I only regret not taste testing or inquiring about their other selections; I was so contented with the peach that it never occurred to me. We had a choice of 4 different entrées: a walnut/apple chicken salad, a cheese quiche, a turkey/provolone/artichoke panini, and a shrimp salad. All were served with a green salad and cup of tomato/basil soup. We ordered every entrée but the shrimp salad. Absolutely no one was dissatisfied with their choice. I had the turkey panini, green salad, and tomato/basil soup...total perfection. I must say, I’m not a tomato soup kind of girl, but this was unlike any tomato soup I’ve ever had and was delicious. Then came dessert...again, perfection! The meal left absolutely nothing to be desired. Just wish I could eat there more often! We had ample time to eat and visit and weren't pushed out like you might find with some chain restaurants around Kansas City. When we finally did finish and pay, the price was more than reasonable. We found our way upstairs and did some shopping, great selection and something for everyone...literally, everyone purchased something. Awesome discounts for your birthday month and on specific items...that day it was jewelry and glassware. My grandmother actually found a platter she'd been looking for hanging right on the wall of room we lunched in. Did I mention everything in the tearoom in use is for sale? From the dishes, to the wall decor, and the furniture...it‘s all available for purchase. One of the best leisurely, ladies’ Saturday afternoons I’ve had in a long time. Thank you to the staff and lovely people who make Henry’s a truly unforgettable treasure!

      Tearoom response:

Thank you so much! We are glad that everyone had such a lovely time. That platter was meant for your grandmother as we had just put it on the holder! We hope to see you again soon.

We had a group of 15 and everyone 'raved' about Henry's Tearoom. We all sat at one large table in our own room where we felt free to talk and laugh without bothering other guests. Between us all we tried all four entrees (Green apple and pecan chicken salad; turkey paninis; sundried tomatoe quiche; and shrimp salad) and absolutely everyone agreed the food was fresh and delicious. Sometimes you feel slightly hungry after a tearoom luncheon, but not so here we all loaded up on shortbread cookies and cup after cup of tea before we even ordered lunch! The desserts (lemon tart, carrot cake and brownies with caramel sauce and pecans - YUM!) were also very good and well-sized. We could not have enjoyed the meal more! We also made the rounds through all the different rooms of the refabbed 'church' to do some antique shopping. it was tru;y a fun time. A number of us went up and down the adjacent blocks of downtown Lee's Summit and visited some of the interesting little boutiques and shops - all had interest and character all of their own. This does not have to be just a place to have lunch and look at antiques, several of us made a whole afternoon of shopping and walking around this very charming little district. We had a wonderful time!

What is this place doing at a tea web site in a list of tea rooms? They are a luncheonette, plain and simple. A good luncheonette, but their teas are the same basic teabags you can get in any diner. What I was expecting was good tea; my actual experience was tea that can charitably called mediocre. I notice that all the other reviews rave about the food but nobody really says anything about the tea. I guess that's why. This is a nice place for lunch but sorry, it is not a real tea room and doesn't belong in a list of good places to drink tea. (Which I presume is what this web site is about?)

      Tearoom response:

We are saddened that you did not enjoy your experience at Henry's. We feel that a tearoom should be a lovely place to enjoy delightful companionship. Please do visit all the tearooms on TeaMap.

Henry's Tea Room is a lovely spot in a delightful location--an antique shop in a small town-- Lee's Summit. The food is beautifully presented in several courses. While men are sometimes present, it is a special place for women.

      Tearoom response:

We try to make our tearoom a pleasant location for conversation and dining for everyone. Thanks!

Great environment, semi-traditional with small town charm. Upstairs is a great antiques shop, with lots of cool lawn ornaments/ fountains/ patio furniture outside.

      Tearoom response:

Thanks for coming! We are glad you enjoyed the antique shop too. It's a pleasure to work in an antique shop!

I treated my mother to a birthday surprice lunch at Henry's Antiques, Collectibles & Tearoom in Lee's Summit, Mo. The meal was delightful, as was the service and surroundings. The lunch began with a selection of teas an mini muffins. Sandwiches and salads followed, served on fine china. We are both looking forward to our next visit.

Several ladies from Northside Christian Church, Kansas City MO recently enjoyed a 'Girls Day Out' at Henry's Tearoom for a delicious lunch which was served by a very gracious host and then we enjoyed the afternoon browsing through lovely antiques and collectibles! We thank you for a wonderful day!

I love this place. It is my home away from home. I loved to be pampered in the middle of my busy days. I prefer this beautiful place to the new place down the road that makes you clothes smell like greasy food.

      Tearoom response:

Thanks Kathy! We like you too!

Very cute place in a quaint part of Lee's Summit. Food was all homemade, fixed price so for one amount you got: a choice of lunches, green salad, frozen fruit salad, roll, dessert, and drink. Service was friendly and efficent. Have eaten there three times in 8 weeks and the food is always scrumptious! Dining room is full of antiques, old pictures, dinnerware, etc. Like going back to a really lovely, elegant time and place. I only do iced tea in summer, so I did not puruse the tea selection though it appeared they had a large offering.

      Tearoom response:

Thanks for coming so often! We're glad you like our style and look forward to seeing you again.

This is a wonderful place for lunch with the 'girls' or for families. The food is excellent as is the service. They have special occasion teas that you shouldn't miss. With the Antique store above the Tea Room you couldn't have a better situation for those who long for more genteel times. You will feel right at home, and go away planning your next visit!

Lee's Summit is very fortunate to have Henry's Antiques and Tearoom. The Antiques Shop and Tearoom are great additions to the historic downtown. The quality and presentation of lunch was really exceptional. I can't say enough about the wonderful service and fun I had while having lunch recently. I wish I had a place like Henry's to have lunch everyday where I live in Sacramento. I wish I could get back to Lee's Summit and the Tearoom more often to enjoy the quaint atmosphere, delicious lunch and desserts, and special treatment I received at Henry's. Everyone should make Henry's a regular stop.

      Tearoom response:

Thank you, Nancy. We are delighted that you enjoyed your experience! It was our pleasure to serve you!
