I've been there 4 times . I drug my husband alone the last time and he loved it. They have quite a variety of teas. We had tea sandwiches , soup scones homemade spice bread. and dessert. You can go on line and see what they offer The choice of soup and desserts changes. The place is very relaxing. the help is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

What a nice visit this was. The place is adorable with linens and fresh flowers, soft music and lots of charm. The food was wonderful with homemade scones (and very big ones not little tiny ones), some kind of cream and lemon butter. We came with an amazone locale voucher but we'll be back as it is worth the full price.

This is our favorite tea room to visit. The food is excellent, the place is adorable and the staff is knowlegable and friendly. We were thrilled when they changed their policy to allow children in only on the weekends. We were quite disturbed however when this Thursday past, there was a table with a very whiny, bratty pre-school aged child. Obviously the grandparents (I think) do not think the rules apply to them. I feel bad for the owners as it is hard to turn people away with children in tow but I feel worse for customers like myself who have to endure a whining disruptive child when we are trying to enjoy a pleasant day out. Stick to your rules Simpson House...you don't want to alienate your customer base.

Just used Living Social voucher for a High Tea for Two ( I know, I let it go until the last day) so it was really crowded and noisy but God bless them, they squeezed as many of us in as possible to use it before the expiration date. Even though it was jammed the service was still great and everyone had a smile on their faces. And the food...it was fabulous! The scones and the homemade lemon curd and cream was to die for, the tea sandwiches were fresh and filling and the soup was great as well as the salad with the homemade champagne vinaigrette. The assortment of teas is unbelievable and they even had four iced teas. We will be back for sure!

What an overall lovely experience! Server was attentive and informative. The food was great especially the to die for soup. The tea selection is unbelievable! It was a great Living Social deal. Only thing lacking was the scones were very small and no dessert. Howe ver, I do have a Queen Anne voucher that includes both full sized scones and full sized desserts. Hope I can eat all the food! We'll be back soon. Thank you Simpson House.

One of the worst teas I've ever been to. Soup and salad were good but the tea sandwiches were lacking and we didn't get our normal 3 tiers with desserts being on the top tier. On our top tier was packaged butter, clotted cream, very pale lemon curd but the scone to put it on I would call a cookie. It was the worst scone I've ever tasted. An FYI if you are going to put out a living social coupon don't have an attitude when people use it. Won't be back.

What a lovely High Tea for Two we had! The soup and salad was very good; we had peach vinaigrette on the crisp salad and we had some kind of potato corn soup...delish! Our four level tower had very fresh tea sandwiches, little sugar scones with lemon butter, clotted cream and jam and the best lemon bread we've ever eaten. And the choices of tea was unbelievalbe. My friend had the Buttercream Easter egg and I had Peter Rabbit berries. We will definitely be back!

We had tea at this tearoom this weekend and used our Groupon deal. The place was absolutely packed and really jumping. It was almost too loud for a tearoom but what could they do with the place filled to the rafters! We started with the best Dutch Chicken Corn Soup I've ever tasted accompanied by a crisp mixed greens salad with plenty of vegetables like cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, red peppers and crisp cucumbers. We got a 3 plate carrier with delicious scones with some kind of cream, lemon curd, jam & butter and fresh tasty tea sandwiches. Then we had a dessert plate with peach crisp and crumb cake along with chocolates. We could hardly walk when finished!we will definitely be back. A great value even a full price. Keep up the good work Simpson Tea House. Even your waitresses were informative about the hundreds of tea even though they were extremly busy. Hard to do but they did it! Thank you.

The Simpson House Tea Room is the best tea room I have been to anywhere. The large selection of high quality delicious teas is impressive. All of the food is fresh and the incredible homemade scones taste like they come from a superior baker in London. The best part is that even with its best of the best flavor and tea selection the atmosphere manages to stay casual, warm, and welcoming. The servers are quick on their feet and pay attention to every detail to make sure their guests have an enjoyable tea room experience. I highly recommend Simpson House to tea room goers AND to the general public as well. This is a place you do NOT want to miss!

Had a wonderful Royal Tea for Two today here. The tea sandwiches were fresh and varied, the soup was chicken rice and very good, the salad greens were mixed and crisp, the dressing was lime-balsamic and very tasty. The scones were delightful, soft and moist served with lemon curd, Devon cream and jam. We had two different Easter teas that were fabulous! And the desserts were warm gingerbread squares, crumb cake with mixed fresh berries and a scoop of peach sorbet...fabulous! It was very disturbing however to hear two women behind us who also got the Groupon offer to say they thought it was too expensive if they didn't have the half-priced Groupon. Are they kidding? Have they been to many tea rooms? $48.00 for all that food is NOT expensive. The labor and love that goes into tea sandwiches make them worth every penny and these were fresh and very filling. It makes me sad to hear people say that as I know the owners run specials like this to introduce people to their tearoom...people that they want to come back. I can guarantee the owners that my friend and I WILL be back. Job well done Simpson House!

Recently had the Royal Tea for Two and found it be excellent. Service was good even tho every table was occupied. We had a soup-salad combo, a tiered server with tea sandwiches, scones & fruit and a dessert plate for two. The server explained everything we had questions about and checked on us frequently except when we were talking when she seemed hesitant to interupt. From what Kaley said...some of the sandwich and dessert choices were obvious and if you had questions, same on you for not asking! Our server was friendly without hovering and very very knowledgeable about tea. We enjoyed every minute and will be back even without the Groupon!

I have found over the years that one of the greatest things about going to tea is how friendly the staff is and how special they make you feel. It's unlike any other dining experience. Unfortunately, that is not the experience I had at Simpson House. Our server only spoke to us minimally and did not describe the different desserts and sandwiches that were served. Disappointed in one of the 'top' tea rooms in the state.

      Tearoom response:

We certainly apologize that you did not enjoy your experience here at Simpson House Tea Room. I can only state that we try not to interupt our customers conversations or hover while you are eating but we will always answer any questions you may have over your selections. You need only to ask. If you visited this past weekend, I know the waitstaff was extremely busy and we were booked out but that is not excuse to be inattentive. Again, our apoligies.

We started out with a delicious appetizer of fruit, cheeses and scones with homemade lemon curd, cream and jam, followed by a tea sandwich assortment was attractively presented and the freshest tea sandwiches I've ever had. This all was completed with an assortment of mini desserts including soft and chewy macaroons, to die for brownies with German chocolate frosting, airy gingerbread and some kind of cranberry cake. All this was accompanied by the largest tea menu I have ever seen! And we were able to try different ones...I especially liked the Autumn Spice and the Vanilla Chai. I have to say that it seemed there was an extensive tea and food menu, but the service was lacking. Specifically, I asked for some recommendations and there were none given, either for food or tea. 'I like everything' is not great service. In addition, I didn't feel that the food was too special. It was fine, but absolutely no better than anything I could make in my home (I will say that the scones were wonderful). Finally, I felt that the prices were really high. All that being said, it was a fun time and they have a lot of events for little kids (ex. princess tea, fairy tea, etc.) that we are planning to participate in.

Only one complaint: too much food!!! We had two Royal Teas and everything was absolutely delicious but wow! We had to take our mini desserts home. This is our favorite tea house in PA. You can pay more but not get more in other places. The best thing is their personal touch. They make everything from scratch and you can taste the difference. The food is fresh, well presented and the tea carefully delivered. They take care to brew it correctly, give you a timer so you do not forget to remove the strainer and do not leave the leaves in the pot like other places. They will provide more water for a second steeping with a smile, and are cheerful except when extremely busy when they are more matter-of-fact. The owner does her own tea mixes that you can sample at your meal and buy in any quantity you like. The atmosphere is cozy with feminine decor that my dgt. and I love but I suspect would make my husband uncomfortable. We solve this by not taking him to tea:) The prices are just right and encourage frequent visits and celebrations of life's good times. Reservations are helpful as they can be very busy. My only criticism is that they are not open on Mondays, but I suppose everyone needs time for tea. Congrats on a job well done Simpson House.

      Tearoom response:

Thank you for your glowing review. One thing we must point out....we are open Mondays in the fall, winter and spring. We are just closed on Mondays in the summertime! So come and enjoy us on Mondays after summer's over!

I go to tea at least twice a year. I have tried various places. This 'tea room' seemed more like a luncheon cafe than a tea room. The tea selection was awesome, but the little things that 'make' a tea service, like lemon curd and sugar cubes were missing or of poor quality and poor presentation. The food was good, but I can get good food lots of places, I'm coming for the experience of 'having tea' and there was no ceremony or effort to make it a special moment. The hostess/waitress barely spoke to us, and offered no description of the various sandwiches and desserts put before us. All of the other tables were treated warmly, and were offered lots of information about the food available or presented to them. Each course was brought out while we were still only half done with the current course.

      Tearoom response:

We are very sorry you were not pleased however, your table and several others neglected to inform us until arrival that Groupon vouchers were being redeemed which is stated on the voucher and these teas take special preparation for which we were not ready. AS for the waitress no interacting with the table, she does not interact when the parties are speaking with each other as we think it would be rude. We truly would like to know what 'ceremony' you expected so that we could add this to our tearoom if warranted. As for sugar cubes, we were advised by the Health Department that using them can be less that hygenic. Also, lemon curd was included on your platter but we make our own so it is not the lemony yellow of bought curd.
Again, we can only apologize that you did not enjoy your experience.

I was absolutely appalled when the owners of Simpson House told me about the anonymous review from July 11th. Me and my family have been coming here almost since it opened 4 years ago and have found the owners to be friendly, helpful and pleasant at all times. As for the food, I can't express how good and fresh we always find the food. It is a shame that 'anonymous' wouldn't address specific issues and just left a general 'horrible' review. Stand up and be counted if you want to be addressed.

I've been going here with my girlfriend who lives down the road for almost two years now. I have a one year old daughter, and she has joined us for tea since she was in the womb! I have never found the ladies at the tea room to be unwelcoming..but I do always bring a seat for my daughter, and lots of things to keep her occupied as to not disturb other guests. Yes, having a child is a choice, but there is no reason to be distasteful to others who have children. There are many good children out there who do behave while they are out and have good parents that just need to get out of the house and don't have someone to watch them all the time.

Tea selection was good, but food very disappointing. My soup was cold, the scones were tough, and instead of serving whipped cream or clotted cream, they served Cool Whip! That is just not acceptable. Service was slow and not very friendly.

      Tearoom response:

We are sorry you did not enjoy your visit, however, we have never refused to replace or correct any food not found acceptable (especially 'cold soup'). We do not serve whipped or clotted cream, we serve chantilly cream with our scones which is a whipped sweetened cream, not cool whip. We are sorry if you found our service slow but in the summer months we staff according our reservations, and unfortunately we continue to get many walkins which are very welcome but can sometimes slow service. Jen, we wish you would have addressed these issues with us before leaving our facility so we could have tried to remedy your problems. Thank you.

I have not had a chance to visit your Tea Room yet, it's on my list. In answer to Jan 2/13/10: Tea Rooms are not for children for a reason. We want to go to get away from all that and have a peaceful, relaxing, pampering time. Most Tea Rooms have an age limit for children, it's 5 - 8 yrs of age. That's why they didn't have a highchair or booster. Why on earth would you take a toddler to a Tea Room. Not very considerate to the other patrons.

This is my favorite place to relax. The food is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful and the owner always has a smile. So, for the enjoyment of all of us having a nice High Tea, please leave your beutiful misbehaving children at home. That way, we can all enjoy our time away from our own children. I am not sure why people think it is ok to bring their children everywhere. I respect other people and understand the saying, 'bull in a China shop.' So for all of you that are annoyed with it not being 'kid friendly' go to the McDonalds in Exton, they have an indoor playground. Wish I had read Jill's review before we went; definitely not for children; they do not even have a booster seat or high chair; we felt a definite coolness when we arrived with toddler in tow; toddler in question eats out a lot and is normally fine, but the lack of a child-friendly seat was major. Please state on your web-site that you do not provide seating for toddlers; when the menu includes a Peter Pan or Nursery Tea one it misled and expects some kind of accommodation; toddler was served her tea in a china cup (now that makes a lot of sense)

      Tearoom response:

We are sorry that Jill was not pleased with the Mother-Daughter tea she attended. It's very hard to be pleasant to the girls when some were not very nice little ladies. Some girls repeatedly had to be asked to please sit down, stop touching all the breakables and rummaging through our reservation desk, to please stop playing in the bathroom in groups of four and five and just generally to please act like young ladies should act. Some of the girls were repeatedly asked to PLEASE return to the room where their activity was being held. Maybe fourth grade is too young especially when some Mothers wanted to sit with other mothers not their daughters. As for the food choices, the meal was prepared with the youngsters in mind not the Mothers and perhaps that was our mistake also.

After reaing the reviews about the Princess teas, I am very disappointed that you are not having them this summer. My grandaughter and I attended two of the teas and were looking forward to going to another princess tea. I was not under the impression that a 'princess' was going to be there and I thought the price was fair...Regarding the menu..I know it was little muffins, but the children ate the muffins or brownies and probably would not have eaten the scones. The sandwiches could have been a bit more kid friendly, but there are other teas for children that are double the price and certainly not worth the $25.00 per person. Wishing you would reconsider.

This is hands down my favorite tea room, and one of my very favorite places to have lunch. The food is excellent. The decor is elegant without being stuffy. The specials that include soup and one of the amazing desserts are a very good value. If you had just soup and dessert, it would be worth the trip! I have also found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to go with friends to have a relaxed meal with food to ooooo and ahhhhh over.

I am a great fan of tearooms and visit this one often. Their scones with homemade lemon curd & cream are superb and contrary to the previous review you can get them by themselves. I do all the time with a lovely pot of loose leaf tea. I was also appalled at her suggestion of sugar lumps! How unsanitary! Germs, sneezes & children. I have also found tearooms who use doilies are sometimes hiding stained and chipped china. Linens are used here with lovely fresh flowers on the tables. How unfortunate to get a bad review for sins not committed. Thank you. Debbie W., Chester Springs

I have been to ALOT of tearooms and this one is average at best. All tearooms should have the niceaties like lump sugar and doilies, fine linens. Scones with cream and lemon curd should be available on the menu, not just with certain orders. The nice thing about a tea room is to stop in for a cup of tea and scones!!

      Tearoom response:

We are sorry you missed the scones under the 'light fare' section of our menu as they ARE available just by themselves. We also do use linens not paper and do not consider lump sugar appropriate for use in our tearoom. Thank you.

Went to the tea room recently. Was very happy with the appearance of the room and very friendly and helpful wait staff. Unfortunately, the food portions left A LOT to be desired. I had the tea sampler plate which would have left my 5 year old still hungry for something else. The little tea sandwiches, and I do mean LITTLE, came with 3 blackberries and a half of a kiwi, talk about small portions!! For the price, the plate should have had some chips or at least a pickle or coleslaw on it, very disappointing! The dessert was worse, there were only 3 items listed on the dessert menu and not one of them was the scones they offer as 'The Best'. You can only get a scone if you order the plate that it comes with! My cake was so small it looked like it was out of Alice in Wonderland. Everything was a seperate purchase, the tea, the soup,(if you wanted it, I did not) the plate, the dessert. If you want a real nice tea room experience, travel 2 miles north and go the the Coventry Tea Room. Much bigger portions for the price. You can get a 3 course lunch, tea included, and go home with plenty of extra food for the same price.

We were there last weekend with some girlfriends. The weather was lousy and the Dickens Christmas celebration in Eagle was cancelled. The people were very friendly and the tea was good and served very nicely. The food (we had the brunch) was average. My quiche had very little flavor, but the potato casserole was good. There are all hardwood floors throughout and there must have been a party upstairs. We were near the stairs. The whole time we were there, people were squeezing past us to go up and down the stairs and it was very annoying. I wouldn't tell you to avoid this Tea Room, but Arianna's in West Chester is much more cozy. They are 5 starts.

My sister and I had a wonderful afternoon tea! We arrived almost 15 minutes before they were supposed to be open, (and were happy to wait) but they were kind enough to seat us anyway. The variety of teas was fantastic and we each purchased several loose teas (very reasonably priced!) to take home. We also decided to buy our own teapots. We had the 'Tea for Two' and the sandwiches were delightful! Our overall experience was great!!! I'm planning on coming back with a friend this weekend! :)

I took my 5 year old daughter to tea here, for a special treat before starting kindergarden. We really enjoyed our lunch. The tea selection was excellent, and the quality of the food was very good too. I liked the fact they offered tea sandwiches specifically made for children(cream cheese & jam or PBJ) - my daughter loved her lunch. I'd like to suggest they offer different cheeses for their sandwiches - my mother ordered a sandwich and it came with Swiss cheese - we asked if we could have a few slices of American or another type of cheese instead, and the owner/manager curtly responded that Swiss is their only option - no apology offered. A gentler approach to such a situation would have been beneficial. Our server was great, prompt and attentive.

I too attended the Ariel tea and was highly disappointed. At $37.50 for a mother and two small children it was highway robbery. $21 for a party of 3 would be more in the right price range for a little tea sandwich, Entenmanns mini muffins, a scoop of ice cream and some lemonade. We were misled into believing a character would appear in costume and were disappointed. It should have been made clearer in the advertisements that it was just a themed tea, then people's expectations wouldn't be so high. Likewise the owners commented about the mess the children made, they were after every single crumb and paper as soon as the kids were done. Why run a business if you can't handle the mess? The girl playing Vanessa looked so uncomfortable, everyone felt sorry for her. Just know what you're getting before you go, a nice attempt at a mother daughter tea but nothing more.

My daughter, her friend and myself attended the Little Mermaid Tea and found it well worth the money and simply enjoyable. I did feel sorry for the girl who played Vanessa, the Sea Witch's alterego. Alot of mothers didn't get into the swing of it so she was left floundering. I can understand the owner's frustration but I'd like to see them continue.

Disney Princess Tea Party - 'Ariel-The Little Mermaid' - What a disappointment! It was heartbreaking to see over 5+ tables of little girls near tears when they found out an hour after the event started that 'Ariel' was not coming to tea. Despite the Tea House itself being charming, clean etc, the way that the owner/manager treated their customers questions was shocking to say the least. A lead woman introduced the tea and the 'Sea Witch' - a beautiful young woman (the waitress actually), dressed in a white skirt and tank top, with a large Shell necklace...not even close to the black 'gowned' octopus sea witch in the book/movie. I overhead a question from a mother asking if Ariel would also be featured...the answer, no, 'WE ARE NOT DISNEYWORLD'. That's fine, but as an owner/operator, you should then not even advertise in such a manner to lead on young children. On paying and leaving, I heard the same employee/owner/woman rant from the kitchen after she was listening to a different customer express politely her disappointment, 'we aren't going to do these anymore its just not worth it with the kids, wah wah wah'. How sad that someone took the time and effort to open such a lovely tea house and treat their customers with such disrespect and the tone of voice I heard today.

      Tearoom response:

I'm really very sorry that some customers were disappointed in our Disney 'themed' teas. We've now learned the hard way why so many other tearooms do not do events for children. We don't claim to have the dressed title character and actually in this case....if you know your Disney movie....the sea witch DOES become Vanessa the sea witch in disquise before her marriage ceremony. Everything including the Little Mermaid bingo, the craft (Ariel treasure bags) and the music (the soundtrack)was based around Ariel. I am heartbroken that some parents expected an actual Ariel to show up. I guess my only comfort is that we have had many parents (& grandparents) come back two and three times over the course of the summer to bring back their very satisfied girls. Its a shame that we will have to disappoint many children next summer as we will not be doing this series again. Unlike this customer's claims, we do value our customers and strive to make everyone content and happy, but after dealing with a few unhappy moms and claims that we are 'overcharging' for this event, I guess we just reached the end of our ropes. In our defense, much time and effort comes into planning each event, preparing for that event and especially cleaning up after that event with all the debris, all our linens with crayon marks and sticky finger marks that unfortunately makes it just not worth trying to do something nice for children.

I've attended several of the princess teas with my daughter, age 5. We began by attending the first one, which was Ariel, and my daughter has been hooked ever since. It's a charmingly sweet idea for a mom and me afternoon. Each tea we've attended there has been a dressed character (many are the 'before' characters, as I'm sure they do not have a collection of ball gowns, like Disney World does), a complete tea, with plenty of kid friendly choices (as my daughter is a picky eater), a craft concerning the princess of the day (thus far we have made under the sea visors, magic wands, and had tattoos done), finishing up the afternoon the girls get to leave with little goodie bags. I would highly recommend attending the princess teas, for people with realistic expectations, as it does only $12.50/person.

      Tearoom response:

Thank you for your kind words. We are hoping that most of our customers come to these teas in the spirit that we have them...to give girls an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon with their mothers. We do them, certainly not for the financial gain as it is certainly nominal, but as a grandmother there is not alot of 'kid friendly' activities to
do with children. Thank you for the encouragement.

I went to a Princess tea with my two little girls, ages 7 and 5. We expected to see Aurora all dressed up in her ballgown. Instead, one of the waitresses was the princess and she was not dressed up. My girls were disappointed, as they attended in their princess dresses. The food could have been a bit more kid-friendly. They did have a game and a craft, but the craft was rushed. Only regular tea was available and the service was not that great. Overall a disappointment and we won't attend again.

      Tearoom response:

We have been doing a Disney Princess all summer every Wednesday. We did have a Princess dressed for Sleeping Beauty...but not in her ball gown.
We had her dressed as Briar Rose in her skirt, corset & shawl outfit when she lived with the fairy godmothers. I think its unrealistic for mothers to expect us to have a ball gown outfit for each Princess...we aren't Disney World with Cinderella's, Belle's etc. ballgowns nor do we charge as they do. As for the food being 'kid friendly'...we served tea sandwiches including cream cheese & jam, raisin bread & an egg salad, chocolate chip muffin, candy and tea bread. Then we served small chocolate sundaes for dessert. I really don't know what else would be more kid friendly. The craft was not rushed except that a few children over-did the glitter part of their magic wands and kept other girls from having as long a turn at decorating. We offered hot tea, iced tea, fruited lemonade and apple juice. I am sorry that Dawn was so disappointed but many other patrons have raved over these teas and have booked two and three additional times. As for the service being slow......children do have a tendency to take awhile chooing their beverage and need a bit more attention than our usual crowd. Thank goodness most of our customers feel that this tea party is a bargain at $12.50 per person.

This is a lovely little business, it is neat as a pin. It is clean and modern, which isn't the easiest thing to find in a tearoom! They have a nice selection of tea. I would have liked to see some more tea sandwich choices though. I like that they offer an entree, but I was really longing for a 'full' tea, that begins with scones & bread, moves on to a soup/salad, tea sandwiches, an entree and then dessert. The service was friendly, and the teenage girls working there were lovely, despite the fact that two of them were dressed like they had just rose from bed. The ambiance was nice, but maybe just a little lacking. Simple details, like lumps of sugar instead of a container full of sweet and low are overlooked. Overall, it is a very nice place. If you are older, I may suggest taking a seat cushion of some kind as the chairs are not padded.

This was a wonderful experience--from the lovely Easter themed teas to the food and our great waitress from Australia. The 'vanilla cream egg' loose tea was great--smelled as good as it tasted. The loose berry/currant tea tasted much better than the aroma it had. The waitress even brought us a timer for the tea steeping. The high tea tray was a nice selection and the sconces and breads were very moist. The food selections were great--very hard to choose so I will just have to go back for some of the nonhigh tea items such as the ploughmans special. Pecan tart was delicious but beware it is very hot intially. The decor and china fit the relaxing victorian atmosphere. We did not feel rushed and everyone was friendly. WE wanted to work there too. Could use a little warmer paint on the walls to warm things up a bit. Highly recommend it --just call ahead to verify the hours.

The service we received was phenomenal, from the waitstaff to the food to the decor, everything was perfect in this quaint little tea house. They had a wide variety of tea flavors which they displayed in an organized 6 page menu; it was easy to look through and every tea had a nice description accompanying it. I hosted a baby shower here. What a disappointment! The waitress had no personality, no knowledge of the menu and rushed us even though we had a private room. The decor was very nice -- clean, simple, pleasant and bright. The scones were delicious but the tea sandwiches were bland and on regular bread. I paid for a tray of desserts and they were clearly not homemade, not fresh and not attractively presented. The restaurant was nice to work with when I made the arrangements but not a spot for a special event.

      Tearoom response:

In response to this review, I too am disappointed....in our customer for not bringing all these grievances to us in person so that we could try to amend her complaints.Am sorry that Sarah felt the waitress had no personality but as for her 'no knowledge of the menu' this was a pre-order of food so I wish she had asked one of the owners her questions not the waitress. Also, she booked her small event for 2 hours...we sat them a half hour before her time & let then stay a half hour extra. I guess the rushing part came as we were trying to clear the room as we had another event booked an hour after hers. As for the mini desserts....they were made by a baker we use and I am sorry she was disappointed. Also on the tray was my grandmother's holiday nut roll recipe which has pleased generations of our family. As for the tea sandwiches on bread....we have been making them this way for almost 11 years. I really would like to know what other kind of bread tea sandwiches should be made on. If Sarah would be so kind, I would like to speak with her especially about the wait staff issues as we have not had a complaint about her before.
