This is now closed. I was sorry to see it close. It was a great place to spend time with your friends and chat.

Looking for a way to treat some girlfriends, I found this tea room in Pasadena. Though it is located in an ordinary plaza, once you get inside it becomes more elegant. They had a piano player who took requests too. We had a very nice evening.

The service, salad, shrimp cocktail and soup were great, however everything wasn't. I don't go enjoy afternoon tea to get soup and salad even though its a bonus. I go to relax, have a nice cup of tea, and enjoy scones savories and desserts I don't have time to make at home. That being said The scone was too sweet and tasted store bought. It was served with a butter cream used for cupcakes and cake not devon cream as stated on the website, there is difference. The savories, and sandwiches left me wanting more. The desert selection was decent. Overall I would not recommend this afternoon tea for the price.

Having managed a tea room before I am a little more critical but always enjoy trying a new place. No tables were available so we were seated at the bar. it would have been fine but the stools seemed too short for the bar so we felt like 5 year olds at a table. The tea selection was very good. Both of our pots were chipped though which was probably not good and we were not given any direction as to how long to seep the tea (for those who dont know). The savories and scones were good. Adding lemon curd would be nice. The sweets were nice, although a little modest. Our server Gene was wonderful. They are not a 'tea room' it appears more of a 'restaurant' that does tea but they are a nice addition to the area and I would recommend someone giving them a shot.

We took my niece for her birthday and we had a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tea selection was amazing. The food all prepared in-house was great. The presentation of food and tea were wonderful. I would recommend visiting for high tea!

One of the best teas - great food and tea selection for a great price. After spending a lot of money at other tea rooms and still feeling hungry this was a real value. Everything from the shrimp cocktail, the spicy coconut soup, mango salad, and the petite sandwiches and sweets really hit the spot. I could not believe ow amazing it was. The atmosphere is clean, bright and plenty of room - there is no feeling of being cramped or rushed. This should be at the top of the list along with Tea by Two. By far, the best bang for your buck - I no longer waste my money and time at other places!

Our tea club visited here on Sat. We had a wonderful time with delicious food and fine tea. If you have not visited them in their new place, please visit for tea. Their coconut shrimp soup was delicious and the shrimp cocktail was delightful. Nice atmosphere and a wonderful tea.

Went there today with 13 friends. It was one of the best teas I've been to. The food was excellent. Service was friendly. Really enjoyed ourselves, and I'll definitely go back.

We came in with a group of 10 people for high tea and it was excellent!! The soup and salad was amazing. We had the smoked salmon, cucumber, and ham and cheese crossant sandwiches. It was excellent. The service was great!! The dessert was fantastic. They bake their own dessert from scratch. We would definitely come back for the tea. Everyone had a wonderful time. this was a mixed experience, parts were good and othe parts not so good. Soup and salad were excellent, but in portions so large you were full before you got to your tea sandwiches. The sandwiches came with two oversized shrimp with coctail sauce which were very good. However, a smoked salmon sandwich was awful, the salmon was too thick and fishy and the spread to goopy and wet. Same true for the traditional cucumber sandwhiches, where the cucumbers were cut too thick, and the sauce much to wet. In both cases the bread on the sandwiches was soggy and not very appetising. The sweets were superb, as this is the specialty of the resturant. The resturant is excellent, as I have eaten there for many years, but would not likely return for tea any time soon.
