Really cute little tea room. Scones are really good. The owner/servers always happy to see people. The menu selection is good (even for people with food allergies) And they have a cute little shop area at the front.

Come and enjoy this small charming tea room in beautiful Cohasset Village with adjoining retail area. For tea lovers and those new to tea. Knowledgeable welcoming staff. Many varieties of loose leaf teas and tea accessories available for purchase. Linger for brewed tea served in individual tea pots for consumption from one of a kind china cups & saucers at your place setting. Enjoy high tea, or tasty lunch (scones, sandwiches, soups, salads, scrumptious desserts). Come with family, friends or on your own. A delightful uplifting in the moment experience!

My friend and I completely enjoyed this experience. We had the afternoon tea. This included 2 each of 4 finger sandwiches, 2 desserts, and a scone, not to mention a wide variety of teas to choose from. All the food were excellent, but my favorite was the scone. Everything homemade. We were sated when we left. The gift shop was a treat to look around in and had nice ideas for different gifts. The service, atmosphere, and food can not be beat. I am planning on going again very soon.

After experiencing many of the tea rooms throughout my travels, the Windsor tea room has become one of my favorites! My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch and purchased some of the courtship tea to make at home. They have a lovely shop with many fine gifts. I will be returning soon!

The Windsor Tea Room's cozy and warm atmosphere only compliments to the divine entrees followed by the most delicious deserts. The service was excellent and the staff is very knowledgable about their wide variety of over 100 kinds of loose tea! The Windsor is hands down, best tea room in Massachusetts.

Two friends and I visited on a beautiful Saturday. We were greeted promptly and warmly; the menu was varied, and the homemade food delicious. The tea itself was excellent. I would recommend this tearoom to anyone with the time to sit back and relax and enjoy the tea, food and ambience.

I enjoyed myself at the Windsor Tea Room I liked the atmosphere of the shop, it was comfortable. I liked the way my tea was made. Homemade scones - most delicious with clotted cream. It reminded me of tearooms my husband and I had visited in England while living there.

      Tearoom response:

Dear Amy, thank you for the nice review. It is always a pleasure to have you! We look forward to your next visit! Judy

I recently visited the Windsor Tea Room with some friends. We had a lovely time. The tea choices were great, the atmosphere cozy and comfortable, not stuffy, and I loved the quilts on the walls. The service was excellent and we didn't feel at all rushed. When we're in the area again, we'll be sure to stop by.

This is an excellent tea house. The atmosphere is welcoming, bright and cheery. The food was excellent, as was the service. I enjoyed the variety of teas and found some that I had not tasted at any other tea house. This is definitely at tea house to visit again.

      Tearoom response:

Dear Cynthia, I am glad that were able to pick from a variety of teas. Please come back soon and I will let you pick from the over 100 teas that we sell.

The atmosphere at the Windsor Tea Shop is quiet and elegant. The selection of sandwiches is varied, and one in particular I'd love to duplicate at home! Service was superb and friendly and my friends and I felt we could enjoy our meal and not rush. I highly recommend this tea house!

      Tearoom response:

Dear Susan, thank you for coming. I am flattered that you want to make the sandwiches at home. Enjoy!

I visited the Windsor Tea Shop and Tea room in Cohasset for the first time last Saturday afternoon.I had been exploring area tea rooms and was anxious to see how this one compared. I must say that I had a wonderful experience at the Windsor Tea Room, which has become my new favorite. The restaurant itself is small but which only adds to it's charmng atmosphere. The sunny interior, coupled with the liberal use of pastel colors repeated in the beautiful and varied mis-matched china, linens, flatware, and overall decor only add to the charm of the tea room experience. The menu is much more varied than what I have experienced with other tea rooms. Although they offer quite a few versions of the typical 'high-tea' fare that I love, they also offer quite a variety of other choices that are sure to appeal to a wider audience. Everything is home-made, fresh and delicious. The desserts are particularly good. I tried the key lime pie that was on special that day which was easily the best I have ever had. The service was excellent and the owner, who is also responsible for preparing the exceptional food is gracious and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tearoom. Don't miss it. I can't wait to return!

      Tearoom response:

Thank you Lisa, for the very nice review. I hope you will visit again soon. It was a pleasure having you.

Each summer when I visit the quaint little village of Cohasset, I love to go to the Windsor tea room. There is something very special about enjoying a good cup of tea in a china teacup. They offer many varieties. My favorite is the Courtship tea. The food is home made and the atmosphere is like being in someones dining room. The staff does their best to make you feel at home.

Thank you Windsor Tea Shop for the many years of Top Quality Service!!!

My daughter & I went to this lovely tea room last weekend. When we arrived they were very busy and I believe short-handed so we had a bit of a wait. Nonetheless we were able to spend some very relaxing time perusing the different shops behind the tea room and exploring the variety of teas and gifts being offered within the tea room. The tea room itself is very pretty and relaxing. Once we were seated & had ordered the room started to empty a bit so my daughter & I requested to change our seats. Although I know this can be a huge inconvenience the ladies were extremely polite and accomodating. We ordered the chai tea. When it arrived it was just the right temperature and had a nice flavor. I ordered the Lady Beth chicken salad on crumpets and my daughter had the Eastwicke panini (I think I remember the names correctly...) both were delicious and very filling. Since we were celebrating my birthday we each ordered a slice of cake for dessert. I had the coconut cake with raspberry & lemon filling & my daughter had the chocolate cake with chocolate ganache. Both were moist & delicious. My daughter told me later that my slice was so beautifully presented she couldn't keep her eyes off of it... All in all a wonderful experience! I am definitely hoping to return soon. :)

      Tearoom response:

Cynthia, I hope to see you and your daughter again. Thank you for coming. Judy

I have found a hidden gem in Cohasset MA. I love this tea room. The food is fresh and the atmosphere is soothing. I can't have anything with gluten in it. Judy was very accomodating and made my chicken salad gluten free. There are many wonderful teas to choose from. Black, green, oolong, white, rooibos and herbal. My favorite is the Courtship tea. This is a blend of black tea with crystallized ginger in it.Browse the gift shop area and the other shops in this building. It is well worth the trip.

I seem to never get tired of going to the Windsor Tea Room. How can one tire of the House Salad with Judy's own homemade chicken salad? or the grilled cheddar with tomato and bacon? or the really fantastic Duchess of Windsor tiered plate of yummy sandwiches, scone, mini sweets and a savory? The choices of teas are many but if you don't see what you want on the menu you can feel free to browse the shelves and pick something from there. The staff has always been helpful and really seem to want to please the customer. Even the atmosphere is calm and peaceful with soothing music playing softly in the background. Can you tell by now that this is my all time favorite tea room? Kudos to Judy and her staff!

Afternoon tea at the Windsor tea room was a wonderful relaxing experience. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. The food was very fresh and delicious they had no problem with our vegetarian order. If fact it was very creative and not the usual egg salad and cucumber, they were very imaginative. The tea sandwiches were a work of art and the corn chowder was a tasty treat. I would recomend The Windsor tea shop to anyone who would like a tasty treat

I'm a guy, so typically a tea room would not be a destination but I've found it a great place for lunch (the 'Cheddar Melt' is to 'die for') and the service is super with their friendly servers and even the owner comes out and socializes with her guests, making it extra special; there's no place like it in all of Cohasset. P.S. the deserts are homemade and scrumptious!

      Tearoom response:

Hi Dave, you are one in many men that visit our tea room. It is a pleasure to have you. Thank you for coming on a regular basis.

This is the best in Massachusetts. I have taken SO many people there to share my great find. Such a delight to my life I HAVE to go there once a week to recharge. It is immaculate. Judy and her staff are warm and welcoming. A great menu...My favorite is the Countess Tea...The scones are wonderful, Judys Brownies are the best I have EVER tasted and she has a fine selection of teas in beautiful cups. I have been to many tea shops in Massachusetts but this is the VERY BEST. You will not be disappointed.

      Tearoom response:

Dear Dolores, thank you so much for coming to our tea room. It is always a pleasure having you. We appreciate all the new guests that you have introduced to us.

I've had the great fortune of enjoying tea rooms around the world, and find myself arranging my schedule to accomodate a weekly visit to Windsor where, in dozens of visits, I've enjoyed the most elegant but friendly and knowledgable tea service, and delicious homemade finger sandwhiches and sweets with lovely presentation.

I have been to the Windsor Tea Shop many times and have always been impressed. The tearoom is lovely, the tea prepared perfectly and the food delicious. You are in for a particularly wonderful treat if you hit on a day when the cranberry/orange scones are on the menu. Judy, the owner is very knowledgeable about tea; and offers a huge selection in her gift shop.

I have been to the Windsor Tea Shop several times. I have never been disappointed. My friends and I make it a destination when visiting the area. We drive nearly two hours to get there and it is worth every mile. The menu choices are fresh and delicious and the service is always friendly and courteous. I love that the owner is so knowledgeable about tea and takes the time to suggest new teas to try. It is one of my very favorite places to be and I look forward to my next visit with great anticipation. We need more of these quaint charming places to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures. Thank you for creating such a lovely place to be.

I love going to tea rooms and the Windsor Tea Room is one of my favorites. The decor is lovely. Glass covered table cloths and every tea cup is different. The food is consistantly great. Keep in mind though, it is Light Afternoon Fare. The chef makes the best home made desserts which she also sells to take home from the glass pastry case. I love the Lemon,Raspberry Coconut cake, blueberry scones, pumpkin whoppies pies and more. You can purchase a large variety of loose teas also. Looks like a diner? Not a chance.

Overall, this is an average to slighly above average tea room. The food is good, the tea selection solid, and the service friendly. Portions are small, however, and the ambience seems a bit like a diner (rotating dessert case, glass covered tableclothes), which detracts from the ambience.

I keep returning to this tea room because the people are so lovely, the atmosphere is charming, and the food is positively addictive. The best cake I have ever eaten is their lemon layer cake (light lemon)that includes a raspberry filling and a perfect butter cream frosting topped with coconut. This, like all their other desserts, scones, and savories, is made right there by the family. I've never had a better dessert or been to a better tearoom. (Don't miss the crustless quiche, either!)

Visited with my husband in the fall, had the full Duchess of Windsor (e.g. sandwiches, scones, desserts). Tea was o.k., but portions were VERY small for afternoon tea standards. Were given the smallest amount of milk imaginable, despite telling staff we were big milk-in-our-tea drinkers. Expensive for what it was - and halfway through our tea the staff sat down together to eat and chat, and we were ignored for the rest of our visit.

My mother and I visited the Windsor Tea Shop for the first time Sunday and it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food was delicious. My mother said the lemon squares were the best she'd ever had. Before the meal was finished, we were already planning what to have on our next visit. We have been to several other tea rooms in Massachusetts and Windsor is far and away the best! We look forward to going back very soon and to attending one of the theme teas. It's such a treat to have this wonderful tea room on the South Shore!

I recently visited this wonderful tea room in Cohasset, MA. I ordered the Dutchess of Windsor afternoon tea. It was delicious. You could tell the sandwiches and sweets were freshly prepared. I am told that the staff times each pot of tea. The first cup tastes as delicious as the last. The tea room is very relaxing and the staff is warm and friendly. Their scones are to die for and the lemon raspberry cake is the best home made cake I have ever tasted. This tea room also sells many varieties of loose leaf teas and accessories. After lunch you can browse the tea shop and visit the other nice shops located in the same building.
