This shop ought not be listed as a tea shop. My family and I arrived at 10am. They were OUT of tea, other than green tea. We did have breakfast, average diner type food. Service wasn't great.

Had a delightful afternoon sharing delicious soup, sandwiches and desserts along with a very refreshing glass of a pomegranit tea spritzer. The wait staff was very friendly and accomodating. I will definitely return!

My friends and I attended a 'Mad Hatters' Tea Party' in honor of a birthday. What fun we had! The staff greeted us with Chesshire cat smiles and warm, friendly greetings! Tasty tea sandwiches had been prepared and a wide variety of tea flavors including my favorite, ginger peach, were brewing for the party. The scones were wonderful! And the 'special order' homemade birthday ice cream roll was outstanding! A return visit is on our list for the summer. What a great place for Avalon to have in town!

This Tea Room is a wonderful addition to Avalon. The friendliness of the staff and the variety of teas made this a special stop for me and my friends. And the food is home made and delicious- be sure to try the Scones-outstanding. I enjoyed this so much my friends are coming back for another Tea Party.

I had a fantastic experience here, the food was awesome and the owners were friendly and welcoming. I'm planning my sister's baby shower here in April, I can't wait!

The Ginger Peach was served piping hot within a most darling tea cozy. It was the perfect compliment to the yummy tea sandwiches. We had Earl Grey as our finale with desert. Staff were both attentive and charming themselves.

This tea room just opened in November 2008. The owner and her staff are very welcoming and enthusiastic. I tried the Full Afternoon Tea and enjoyed a pot of British Breakfast tea and a second pot of Ginger Peach. Other teas are Earl Gray, Pomegranate Rose and Honey Ginseng Green Tea. Tables are set with teapots and patterned china. I like that the pots are kept warm with a tea cozy after being brought back to the table with your choice of brewed and strained loose leaf tea. Full Afternoon Tea came with soup (homemade chicken noodle), a cranberry scone - warm from the oven served with lemon curd, clotted cream and preserves, tea sandwiches, Irish Banger Roll (sausage in puff pastry), and desserts. My favorite tea sandwiches were the crab cake and salmon with guacamole, so different, and with a savory flair. The carrot cake was wonderful - moist and flavorful with a white cream frosting and lots of minced carrot. I'm glad this tea room has opened and plan on returning again!
