We stop in each time we're visiting in the area. The service is excellent. The teas are fantastic.

A friendly and inviting tea shop! It is my favorite place to shop for all things tea. My friends and I often meet up here for a pot of tea as well. The seating area is cozy and nicely decorated. The shop owner is very knowledgeable about tea and can help you find the perfect new tea to try.

This place is more of a tea shop than a tea room; though there is a small room where tea and sometimes scones are served. But you can bring your own food in, which is a plus. The tea selection is vast, mostly whole leaf teas and a few bagged teas. Beautiful tea pots and cups were sold there, along with some great tea tins, and to-go infuser tea mugs. The décor is a British tea shop, and the atmosphere is slow and clam. There are only two flaws to this place, it doesn’t serve food, and there’s usually only one person working there. So, if you’re not the only customer you’re going to wait. It’s not a Starbucks; expect to spend some time there if you go.

I had been told about Quintin's twice in the past year, but was slow to visit. I am so happy that I finally did, and regret not doing so sooner. What a charming little tea shop, with a wonderful variety of teas. We also enjoyed a pot of tea and some scones in the delightful little back room. Quintin's Tea Emporium is lovely little oasis for a for the tea lover in Virginia Beach.

I am sooo happy to have discovered this wonderful tea shop! My husband and I visited here on Valentine's Day weekend. The proprietor is very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable of her vast tea offerings. We decided to try a pot of tea with scones and sit in the quaint seating area. The Earl Grey decaffeinated tea was wonderful as were the homemade scones- authentic currant scones served with blueberry jam!

I loved the calm atmosphere of this little tea shop. There are many tea items to choose from, yet the store is not crowded or distracting in any way. The ladies are very helpful and informative...I would highly suggest the Scottish Carmel Toffee tea. It is like drinking dessert in a cup!

Quintins is a store that sells high quality loose teas, tea biscuits, tea paraphanalia. I particularly am fond of green teas I've purchased recently:Sencha Kyoto Cherry Rose and Angel's Dream (which is a black and green mix). I'm also a lover of their black tea, Yorkshire Harrogate (a great tea for waking up in the morning!) My daughter loves a tisane, Secret Garden - I like it, too! But my favorite thing about Quintin's is ordering a pot of tea and sitting in a small room containing tables and chairs and lovely decorations including a wonderful collection of tea tins and relaxing, reading, and writing. I am very inspired to write while I'm there!

      Tearoom response:

Thanks, Becky, and to all of our friends for posting these great reviews! We're a locally-owned, family-run business and appreciate all the support we've gotten from the community!

Quntins is a small contemporary style shop, holding both an air of what you'd imagine a traditional English shop to be, and a more modern, simplistic shop. There usually aren't many people in at one time. The ladies are more than welcome to help out tea 'newbies.' They allow a free sample of tea with visits, and let you smell all their teas before purchasing. The staff is knowledgeable in the subject of tea, and can answer most questions you might have. Should you want to relax and have a cup of tea at the shop with friends, the very friendly staff will set you up with pot of about 4 cups for $5; their sitting room has 3 tables, so you could have a party of up to 12 people (you could even have a different tea at each table)- ideal for book clubs and birthdays! The selection of tea is good. There aren't too many, and I wouldn't say any of them are very expensive. The shop sells plenty of snacks and tea essentials and accessories, as well!

There is a tranquil room in which to sit and enjoy tea with friends. The packaged sweets purchased are of the best quality and go great with the excellent variety of teas. This is a very nice place to sit and relax and enjoy the company of friends.

I love this place. The service is friendly, the prices are reasonable. And the tea is wonderful! My absolute favorite has to be the Buccaneer Blend.

This is a store to buy loose tea at, the teas were okay, but I and several others tried the teas I purchased and we didn't really care for them.

      Tearoom response:

We're sorry about that, Lee! We do get new teas in all the time (almost monthy!), so stop by again and we'll try to find one better suited to your taste! Thank you!

I love this place! It's such a comfortable atmosphere. The owner has such an enthusiasm for what she does and is very knowledgeable. I bought the Ginger Peach and Arctic Raspberry, they were so good I went back the very next day to buy some for my mom!

This wasn't a sit-down-and-have-tea kind of place...They had a sample of tea, then all kinds of loose and bagged teas to take home.
