I love this little place. It is quaint and hidden and in a weird location but she knows her teas. Her food is great and she is quite creative wiht cream cheese scones. Her high tea is great but you need a 2 days advance reservation. the owner does it all herself with no employees so she has to prepare alot.

I go here on a regular basis and see all the regulars like me. The service is excellent and the food is displayed beautifully. I've had the high tea and everything in between. When my friend was here from New York, I took her to one of the Sunday tea tastings. It was wonderful. I love this place and love the calming atmosphere,

My daughter and I decided to try the high tea at Mad Hatter's. The tea was served in a coffee press. The choices of tea included hebal teas, black teas, milk teas, green teas, caffene free teas. We had delightful vanilla tea and a good lemon balm tea. There were a lot of choices of tea you will have a hard time choosing. There was so much to eat. We were stuffed. Everything was tasty. There were scones, tea sandwiches, and a cheesecake dessert. The salad we had was wonderful. There is one person that works there. She is very quiet but so sweet. The most expensive item is the high tea at $15.00 and then there are very inexpensive items. The place itself does not have a lot of atmosphere, but you are not rushed there. I would recommend it for something different.

I have been to this establishment eight times and sadly to say very poor in being friendly and engaging with customers. Food and Tea are quite good, but will not go back because the owner is not at all friendly and pleasant.

I go here whenever I am in the area. Have even thought of going just for Mad Hatter's even though it's an 8 hr drive. the scones are unique and the best - and best selection I've ever had. The milk tea's are also unique and absolutely to die for. This is the most comforting of all tea shops!

I've been going to this tea shop since it opened. The service is excellent, the food superb and the atmosphere is to be envied. There is only one person working there so if you're in a hurry save it for a day when you're not. Tea is for relaxing and having chats with ones friends. I highly recommend this tearoom

It is true that one person is the 'chief cook and bottlewasher'. One person + many tasks = a lack of excellence in all categories. Very high marks on the presentation of her tea meals. It is tremendous! Unusual, delicous, very pretty presentation on the plate, great variety and I had a delightful meal.

When you enter the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, you go down the rabbit hole. Time has no meaning, so this tea house is best when you are not in a hurry. My son's love this place. Part of the atmospher is enjoying the owner in her 'ways'. She is unassuming and direct. And really quite shy. Sometimes her daughter helps out. I have had the Mad Hatter's 'High Tea' several times and it was excellent - like a six course meal. You must make reservations in advance as you can not simple order High Tea service off of the menu. I highly recommed this place!
