My girlfriends and I went here last Saturday - it is closed. No sign and the spot is empty. Unfortunately, there is a Starbucks on the corner:( We found another tea room on Northwood - I've added that review.

Very nice tea room. Service, tea, and food were very good. One of the best servers that I've had in a tea room. A little smaller than I thought it would be. Our 4 course afternoon tea ( with soup) was delish!

Although this place is in a shopping center, when you enter the place you feel like you've stepped into a genuine English tea room. The new owners are English and very nice. They have the best eggs benedict I've ever tasted. I have also come with girlfriends for afternoon tea (coupons available!) and just love it. There's only one large room, so no separate rooms for parties unless you reserve the whole space. I love the mural on the bathroom wall, so make sure you go there too! It's the one tea house my husband says doesn't make him feel uncomfortable (i.e. his masculinity is still in tact!).

I looked at finding a place with some fine english deserts in our area, and found three. This was the first on our list of tea houses to visit, and we were very impressed. They do not offer the High Tea at 3pm anymore, due to a lack of interest, but we did the afternoon tea, and for $14 per person had a LOT of food. There were three courses. Little delicious sandwitches followed by sconce and ending with a tray of english tea deserts. We loved it all, and if I must say there was something I did not like, then it was the peanut butter desert, and that is just because I don't like peanut butter.

I've only very recently gotten into tea and the lovely tradition of Afternoon Tea, and what a better introduction than this little place, only minutes from my house! The establishment itself was very warm and cozy. The variety of tea was amazing (although I settled on good old Earl Grey), the food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. Our waitress was fab and spoiled us rotten. I was pleasantly surprised to see that we were given fresh plates with every new course. What a treat this place is! I will definitely be visiting again. :-)
