My Cup Overflows Tea Room & Gift Shoppe
Two girlfriends and I enjoyed a lovely luncheon at the My Cup Overflows Tea Room on April 25th. Walking through the cottage garden to the tiny tea room was like stepping into the picture from a Beatrix Potter book. Located behind Miss Laura's home the tea room is quaint and cozy. Miss Laura gave our little group her undivided attention and no detail was overlooked. Our lunch of homemade chicken salad, potato salad, crossiant, fresh strawberries and cantaloup was presented on lovely vintage china complete with a fresh flower garnish. The Kentucky pie was simply sinful. Miss Laura's hospitality was beyond compare and we look forward to returning to her tea room in the country in the near future.
