victorian teahouse cafe
We were met by Ray and welcomed into the lovely rooms. It was a step back into Victorian Times, due to the atmosphere, ambience, and decor. After seating us at a table for two in front a glowing fireplace, Ray brought us our tea choices, served in charming teapots. Tea was accompanied by a cranberry orange scone with lemon curd and clotted cream. It was follwed by a wonderful fruit and vegetable salad consisting of greens and mangos,apples, in a balsamic vinaigrette. The chicken salad, as well as the turkey, cabbage, cranberry and honey mustard finger sandwiches were delicious. And we still were finished. Desserts consisted of a lemon bar, an amazing decadent chocolate mousse, and a chocolate dipped mint oreo...Mmmm we were in heaven. Tea was very relaxing but what made it more so was Ray. He was the perfect,most welcoming, host. Take time out of your busy schedules to enjoy tea at the Victorian Teahouse Cafe in Hasbrouck Heights...its worth the trip
