I've been fortunate to have enjoyed afternoon tea at many a fine establishment from coast-to-coast - and the afternoon tea presented to guests of The Things I Love is by far my favorite. EVERYTHING about the afternoon tea here is amazing! The owner is very personable and she has created a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is very gracious and attentive. The room is so pretty and from the moment you see it you know that you are going to have a wonderful time. The menu - oh, what a fabulous one it is! - changes monthly and the tea (blended for the shop) changes seasonally. The food is absolutely delicious...visually appealing and every morsel is so very fresh and so very good. The soups, the scones,and the sweet and the savory items are all so delectable. Every time I have afternoon tea here I'm looking forward to the next time even before I leave! I was introduced to The Things I Love by a very dear friend and I've since shared this experience with many friends. It is THE perfect place to treat a friend - or yourself!
