The tea was excellent, as was the food. The historic home was incredible; very well done and the owners have every right to be extemely proud of their accomplishments in restoring this wonderful home. My party was expecting a quiet, lovely tea and the opportunity to visit with each other and to be given a tour of the home after the tea. Unfortunately, we were frequently interruped with historical commentary. This would have been fine AFTER the meal but was unexpected and unwelcomed during the meal. If this approach can be corrected, we may return. It is a lovely place.
