I wish I could agree with all these other wonderful comments about this tea room but I would not be honest with you...When I called to make the reservations for my mother, sister and myself, they were very friendly and I was very excited to visit this tearoom! We arrived 10 min. early and another larger party arrived 40 minutes late and were seated before us. On top of that we were not seated but told where to sit...it gets even better though...after we sat down one of the women who works there told us we were at the wrong table and moved us to a smaller table and told us it was a 'Better' table.Smaller and less comfortable for us! We waited 20 minutes till we received our tea and then only after much confusion...the food was very good but we were still definately hungry when we left...the gentleman who worked there was the friendliest and kept apologizing...we felt like we were not welcomed and more of a bother than anything...I would not ever go back nor would I recommend this tea room to anyone I know.

We had no idea they were upset while they were in our tearoom and we are truly sorry they misunderstood what was happening. It was Mother's Day Weekend and wanted to accomodate them and made their reservation. Due to another party being late and parties coming and going, it was just a mistake. I actually had fixed the table I moved them to especially for them. The table my husband mistakenly seated them at, was really not bigger and it is not as nice a table, but it looks a little bigger because it is higher. I tried to call her back and left a message with her husband to call me. We do try to make every tea special, but during a holiday weekend, it is more hectic. We do care and I had just lost my father to a brain tumor less than 4 weeks before.....please forgive us, we were more stressed than usual.
