Jacqueline's Tea Room
Jacqueline's Tea Room is just what I am looking for when I'm thinking afternoon tea. We vacation in Maine every summer and I was delighted to find the tea room last year. Jacqueline suggests you plan on spending 2 hours and that's just what we did. The whole experience is delightful from the moment you enter until you reluctently leave. There is a wall full of teas, I think she said 70 and the scones, finger sandwiches and desserts are wonderful and a delight to the eyes as well as the stomach. Jacqueline is right there to refill your teapot when it's empty and encourages you to try different kinds. She has a variety of things for sale, teapots, cups, books, cards, teapot warmers, etc. I look forward to going back next summer!
