Victorene's Tea
Just made my reservation for the upcoming September Covered Bridge Monongahela History Tea. As I went last year, I thought I was qualified to review this incredible tea room. I must start with the owner, Chrissie. She is a lovely and charming hostess. You will instantly feel as if you have known her your entire life. The 1800's Victorian home is amazing. How honored I felt to be welcomed inside and treated like a family member. All table preperations are done in a classic style. Chris has a knack for those perfect special touches. Now, the food. It is all homemade, even down to the mock devoshire cream. The menu changes with the seasons. She even wrote a cookbook that allows her customers to recreate a tea party at home. The tea selection also change with the season and guests are able to sample two different teas, fresh brewed and loose leaf. I can not wait to attend the September tea and I urge customers to do the same!
