The Johnston House
I recently had my first experience at the Johnston House and found it to be absolutely delightful. I don't understand the negative reviews people have posted here; the food was all very fresh and delicious, right down to huge strawberries dipped in chocolate and scones that melted in your mouth. We had a good variety of tea right on our table and were able to brew it to taste in cute little teapots. The lady who served us was very helpful, attentive, and forthcoming with information about the food variety. She even brought our check on a little heart-shaped doily! The decor is charming with gifts for purchase everywhere. I have recommended the Johnston house to several people in the few days since we went, and I hope to return next time I'm in town!
