The Pink Bicycle Tea Room
I just returned from my 6th visit to this tea room, and was not disappointed! We were greeted with a smile, and were seated promptly, even without a reservation. We were offered a variety of teas, and were able to share as many pots as we wanted. The food was good, and we certainly did not go away hungry! We had fresh fruit, a variety of sandwiches, and desserts, as well as a large scone and fresh salad with blueberries. Our waitress was personable and attentive, checking with us often to see if we needed anything. At the end of our tea, the owner, Lisa, arrived and greeted us as well. She then brewed us another pot of tea to taste, sat with us, and shared a vast amount of tea knowledge. Upon leaving, we purchased several teas, and were given a sample of the Pink Bicycle house blend. I am not sure that the people who wrote the negative reviews were at the same tea house I was at! I have ahd nothing but the best of food and treatment at this tea house. Going to a tea room is an experience - not a meal. You go for the ambiance and the art of alowing down and savoring - not gobbling vast quantities of food. I highly recommend this tea room, and will continue to go there when I want to get away for a little while. Thanks to Lisa and her staff for the wonderful experience!
