Twinings Tearoom
I recently had afternoon tea here at is was pretty good...not wonderful. It was a very hot day so we actually had iced tea and lemonade. The setting was bland but the food was nice. It was fairly pricey...but this is Cape May. For $14.95 we had scones w/homemade clotted cream, 3 kinds of tea sandwiches and 2 kinds of dessert and tea breads. I really missed the jam with my scones...maybe they'll add that for next time!

The Lizzie Rose
I had my baby shower at the Lizzie Rose and it was great! The tea room is small so we had it all to ourselves and Liz provided a special menu for us. She made a wonderful pound cake and decorated it in blue for the baby to be. She also made sure to have tea sandwiches w/out mayo for myself. Very accomodating and quaint. I would definately have a small party there again! My son is 1 now and I haven't had the chance to go back to the tea room...but I will, soon! Thanks Liz!
