LaTeaDa Tea Room & Gift Shop
I visited the tearoom with my mom & sister. The Victorian home with stained glass windows and original woodwork offers an enjoyable and unique atmosphere. I tried the Very Berry iced tea, mildly sweet and good flavor; my sister had the La Tea Da iced tea, a citrus flavor; my mom had the regular iced tea, freshly brewed. For lunch I had the La Tea Da sampler which included the Cherub's chicken salad, corn chowder soup, pasta salad, fruit; my mom had the Lunch Box sampler which included the chicken salad along with a muffin, coleslaw, broccoli salad, macaroni salad; my sister had the Chicken Salad Melt Sandwich on cinnamon swirl bread...all very good with generous portions. For dessert, we shared a piece of Luscious Lemon Cake...nice lemon flavor without being overpowering. We we not disappointed...an enjoyable afternoon.
