I went to this tea room with a friend. We were both favorably impressed. To be exact - upon opening the door we both had an automatic exclamation of 'WOW'!! It is very elegant. The pictures on their website give you a good idea of what to expect. BUT - I was still surprised when I saw it in person. The tea list was presented in an attractive folder. The list was so long it made a quick selection impossible for me to make. I finally settled on the 'Midsummer Night's Dream'. I will make a different choice on my next visit. We both chose the High Tea for our first visit to this tea room and were pleased with what we were served. Each of us had our own three tier tray stand with our tea foods. If you want a lovely, relaxed time of feeling pampered do visit this tea room.
I ordered a pot of tea and a scone. The menu says 'served with lemon curd'. The menu did not say additional charge for the lemon curd. In my experiences visiting many different tea rooms I found this one to be very high for the small amount food you get. It may have changed since I was there, but the quality, quantity, and price quickly made me decide not to return.
