Olivia's Tea Room
I found Olivia's Tea Room while searching the internet from Oregon. My niece is getting married tomorrow and I thought it would be fun to take her for a pre wedding afternoon tea. What a lovely venue. A beautiful turn of the century home turned into a tea room. They started with a hot coconut almond vanilla tea and a cold sweet peach tea. My sister in law loved the peach tea. Next came a cold refreshing strawberry soup. Then a salad of mixed greens with fresh strawberries, bleu cheese crumbles, and a light raspberry vinaigrette. The scones were next: pumpkin with white chocolate chips and clotted cream and spiced apple butter. The savories included a chicken salad sandwich, cucumber with honey mustard, a broccoli cheese quiche, cranberry sweet bread, corn muffins with apricot jam. To top off this amazing tea they finished with a sampling dessert tray with three types of mini cupcakes, a chocolate covered strawberry, and a lovely sugar cookie. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for a nicer place. I highly recommend it.
