I was one of the 18 women who was arriving for high tea. When we arrived as you've heard they were not prepared for us. I believe that they were aware of our month advance reservation when it was called in but apparently the staff did not write it down - 100% their fault, no miss communication!! So as christians we tried to make the best of the situation. That was quite difficult as the service was very poor!! I had to get up twice to go and find someone to serve us. The only one who seemed genuine was the woman in the back making our food. She happened to be at the reservation desk when I needed assistance and she was happy to help. I highly recommend that you find another tea house! This is not #1 in my book!!
We have fully accepted responsibilty for the misunderstanding concerning the reservation. It is unfortunate that we could not do anything to correct this mistake. If we could have, we would have since we strive to be extremely accomodating and to provide quality food, service and atmosphere. We understand this group's disappointment.
